This is an irrelevant talking point. It makes me sad to see people deceived who sit in pulpits, but most of them were led astray about 2000 years ago by the Romans anyway. Anything else is a lie that will destroy the family through reliance on a Luciferian State: Babylon.

What you are hearing from this mans tongue is an argument based on an indefensible implicit premise.

Femininity has in the past been associated with passivity and submission. Granted!

But power and status are always linked, and it is the power relations that give passivity and submission its lower status, not its association with femininity. Men generally do not want to be seen as feminine, any more than women generally want to be seen as masculine and often for the same reasons.

How could the obvious conclusion that there are other reasons to want power, that have nothing to do with gender, have escaped this man. Isnt there something about power that is universally appealing? If wanting power or empowerment could be reduced to an expression of misogyny then what does that make feminism? Masculinity has earned its association with power in the past, but this may change with time.

People who make decisions, usually also have more responsibility, and this is why they have learned to value nobility, objectivity, reason, impartiality, honesty and truth. These are actually the keys to maintaining power, not just isms that keep only certain classes of people in power. If you believe that the truth is your common enemy, it seems natural to conclude that enemy of your enemies is post-modern rhetoric. Although post-modern rhetoric can keep truth away, it is a double-edged sword.

I can't here what he had to say. I hope Patriarchy ends, somewhere. There may be a matriarchical culture out there, or was; it can't be proven impossible. I think there should be more women dominant societies, as to provide an alternative, the world needs more alternative. I support feminism for alternative views and choices, not only regarding politics, but sex and lifestyle.

Men will not always rule the world. As it is, more and more women are realizing they do well without men. Much of hard labor is accomplished through machines, whom anyone (man or woman) can build with the proper training. And more women are educated than men nowadays. Sorry, it won't happen in the next 50 years, but the tables will turn, and it will be a better place.
