Thank you. Yes, they are gone forever. I have reformatted my website as an information and learning center to help others successfully build a a flying hydro with a new Build Learning Center in the image gallery and just a few exclusive parts to help along the way. Take care and have fun, Jay
Thanks man! 311 rocks! Our Miss Hydro 1.5 is now 100% hand made by myself...Jay, and has gone through nearly countless changes and improvements. She now glides...nice and level...at half throttle...hands off the sticks! We have perfected the science of flying hydros! (= Made in America by a hobbyist for hobbyists and only available at GITaHobby dot com! GIT...your best chance for success!
It is made out of Depron and strong EPE foam and Carbon Fiber. Depron is that back upper on the SL is made out of. To fix and rienforce Depron I aply clear plastic tape and bond it to the Depron with a spare prop or my fingernail. This makes Depron almost indestructable!!! In fact I still have this very Miss Hydroplane in one piece and step on it and kick it 10 times a day to show customers how tough it really is!!! See for your self at GITaHobby dot com. Happy New Year!
Is it made out of styrofoam like the storm launcher or is it plastic? I just got a storm launcher for christmas and im trying to figure out where i can get a new stabalizer wing. The rest of the rc is durible but the back piece is fragile.
We personaly modify the newest version 2408-21 Brushless Motor. I can not fit a description of ALL that we do but you can read tons about all that we do to make our new Miss Hydro 1.5 the best flying hydro in the world at my website GITaHobby dot com. And they are all hand made right here in America by me and my partner Terrance! You can see pics of my Hobby Shop and some MH 1.5's being built in the WattFlyer forum link in the links section of my website! TTYL Jay
Man, I still can not reply! oh well. I hope you GIT this jomo3mo! Yeah, they are a little difficult if you have never flown a full 4 channel 3D RC aircraft before. Good news is I have made MANY improvements to the design that makes my new Miss Hydro 1.5 PERFECT over thousands of hours of flying and crashing so it is easier than any other 4ch flying hydro, and I include a real FMS flight simulator so you can practice! Feel free to check it ALL out at GITaHobby dot com. TTYL Jay
It seems I can add comments again! Yeah! Ok, This is not an airhogs storm launcher. It is a prototype/modified Miss Hydroplane for my NEW Miss Hydro 1.5! We Have made soooo many improvements and each one is build by hand by me and my new partner Terrance. I considder each on a work of art and try to make the Miss Hydro 1.5 the best and most complete flying hydro in the world! Check it all out at GITaHobby dot com. TTYL Jay
About 15-25 minutes depending on how much throttle you use on average. It can coast level at less than half throttle and even less to "ride" in place on the wind like that. Here is an interesting note: I have three Lipo's- one is good, the other two have bulges. That meens they have one or more cells weekined or bad. I shot this video with the two bad ones. I forgot my good one at home. So, I am at about 60-70% power in this whole video! PS: Li-po mantainance is a daily thing! TTYL!
Check out my profile/channel for a detailed description of her and what is included with Miss Hydroplane exlusively from GITech. Post a comment. Ask a question. I'll be happy to answer. I bid you well!
Cool. I think I will want one eventually after playing with the Storm Launcher for practice, too bad the v2.0 seem to be out of stock forever.
