Nice classical style. Great execution . Maybe try to diversify a little with other styles such as jazz and newer bluegrass. I think that you'll find them joyous to play . Practice the other styles and they will find their way naturally into your playing.. Best of luck

@Theviolinist98 Hahaha... the book on the stand is probably one of my exercise books. Violinists don't really need sheet music for songs as simple and open to interpretation as "Amazing Grace."

Umm if you dont mind me asking, what rosin do you use? I use pirastro gold, but it turnsmy bow hair yellow. I want the liebezeller gold 1, but i cant find any. I also used gustav bernadel,but it was light. So what rosin do you use?

He has his own channel, though... it's "RSKirsch" and he's uploaded some of his improv stuff there.

Most of it's just kinda "spur of the moment" stuff, though, so it's not his best comedy work by a long shot.

If you're referring to the little splotches on my right arm, it's paint :). I go to boarding school we have something called "rock day" where all the juniors go paint their class year on this gigantic rock we have on campus (and have a gigantic paint fight). This video was taken about an hour after we finished, and even after a thorough shower, I couldn't get all of the paint off.

Odd story, I know, but it's true. :)

how do i upload a video with me playing the violin, without using a web cam? I dont like using my web cam while playing. it looks very opaque.

You need a digital camera. Ryan was nice enough to use his to help me out. The upload process should be basically the same after you get the footage onto your computer. Ryan's camera records onto a DVD, so he didn't need any cords.
