hey, my band and i want to play this at our gigs, and i would play harp on it. what kind of harp should i get? the song is in E but does that mean i should get and E harp?
@ledzep149 If you have to ask that question then i dont mean to be cheeky or harsh but... this song is beyond your skill level. If you wanted to play it with the blues scale you would get an A harp, or if you wanted to play it more Dorian-y then you would get a D harp..... it's all stuff you should already know if you're gonna tackle a song like bring it on home soo... yeh : /
this sounds awesome, is this the key of A? (i'm a total noobie when it comes to harmonica but i want to get better, so sorry if that seems like a dumb question)
Actually it is in key of D here played in cross position for a resulting key of high A, I had to test it out to see. I thought that it might be B flat but I couldn't find my B flat, Either way D sounds right. start on the 2 hole draw and move up it's a basic run you should have no problem.
sorry i have turrets and i cant help it that you are a stupid bitch that dont know who or what your fucking talking about now quit fucking talking about shit that you dont know about........... sorry dumb muther fucking ass bitch
one minute... You never knew that Led Zeppelin did a lot a lot of covers, every Led Zep at one point had to admit that. Like for some songs it's obvious that they took, so obvious! But I had to agree, but I'm still a true Led Zep fan, if you would check my account... and man that comment was 6 months ago... But they did it for the best, because they rock and yes Jimmy was a satanist, if you would do some research too. And yes they took some parts of songs, if you would do some research too.
i would like to say i am sorry for the comments posted by my brother and his friend these views are not expressed by me in any way shape, form or fashion. thank you
no its not you dumb muther fucker you need to go to hell for that last fucking comment you stupid little fuckin ass dick sucking cum guzzler you are also a cock juggling thundercunt that cant fucking count and read go to the fucking rock history museum look who its by and blow your fucking brains out i know you cant help that your mom and dad are brother and sister but damn go back and fuck your sister bitch up the ass with a flip flop
lol... ok... I really didn't meant that in a bad way... I'm saying the original Bring it on Home came from Willie Dixon, it was written by Willie and he did recorded it, but Sonny Boy recorded it too. Led Zeppelin just listen ed to the song and wanted to make a tribute, but the only similarities to the song and Led Zeppelin's version was the ending of both songs, and everything else is different. And they got sued for that song, which really didn't made sense to them, because they didn't rip it.
awesome man !

blues is usually played in crossharp meaning the fifth degree of the major scale
so for this song you would need an A harp

Yeah, nice bends. Timing/rhythm sounds a bit sketchy now and then.
