  • I will remember you always -- My Darling of Darlings -- My Precious Gem from Heaven -- My Resplendent Rose -- My Barbra Rose. "I lost losing you" -- so painful, so true. Come back from Heaven for me very soon, and take me back to Heaven with you, My Barbra Rose. If you can hear this song -- it's for us on Valentine's Day 2012 (and all of those yet to come). My Eternal Love Barbra, I love you beyond words -- beyond Space/Time.

  • I REMEMEBER the two short years we had in this life, My Darling and Resplendent Wife, Barbra. Heaven must have needed you more than me. "I lost losing you" -- how sadly true. Come back for me soon, My Eternal Love -- My True Love, Barbra. I love you beyond Time! Thank you, Eddie Cochran (who is now jamming with the Heavenly angels).

  • Dear Eddie, I'm listening to you for more than twenty years. We'll never forget you.

    RIP great Eddie.

  • Never forget. Eddie remembers. 1 <3

  • Maybe my all time favorite!

  • I think its just fantatisic that youngters still yearn for the likes of Eddie and other great artists from the 50s. While there are people around like that, this music will still being played 50yrs from now , when us oldies are dead and gone!!! ROCK ON Thanks to all who take the trouble to post these great clips.

  • Beautifully excuted all the way around, He is the "Real King" of rock-roll..

  • sadly missed but thankful you were here.

  • Thanks for uploading this little known classic Cochran track. It was on his `Memorial Album' UK release and I played this track endlessly. It's great to hear it again.

Keep up the good work and keep on rockin,

  • my favourite eddie song i sing it on all my gigs what a brilliant singer he was still missed fifty years on

  • NICE SONG FOR THAT FINAL DANCE......CLASSIC

  • Le plus beau slow THE KING EDDIE !!!!

  • I would have loved to have met this guy. He died in England two days before my 8th birthday. His music, and the man, would go on to inspire me later in life not only as a person, but also a musician. Eddie Cochran had more influence on me than he will ever know.

  • Eddie...always on my mind...

  • Love this song

  • Ce morceaux est énorme!!! un très grand moment musical! Beaucoup de poésie!

    Thierry

  • Tommorow 17th is the anniversay of Eddies passing. He truly was ahead of his time. God bless you Eddie. Thanks for leaving all these wonderful songs for us to remember 49years later.

  • oldrocker,

Thank you so much for that; I hadn't kept up, but what a great tune and yes indeed, he was a niche artist that deserved so much more.

We have what we have, and I will always love him.

  • the best Eddie's ballad. A real producer dream. The Martin acoustic guitar sound fantastic and the Eddie's voice is perfect an southfull on this one. A masterpiece from the king of rock 'n' roll.

  • @eugenecraddock So very true. What a fittingly-perfect song from the late 1950s. This tune is a heart-breaker but it's period-perfect. I'm waiting for my Eternal, Darling, and True Love (My Barbra Rose) to return from Heaven someday very soon -- to take me back with her. Until that time, I REMEMBER.

  • Yep - I run and buy myself an Impala58 and go cruising / JB

  • Way to go :)

  • R.I.P the one and the only!

  • real music

  • Yes

  • one of my all time favourite songs,by my first rock and roll hero. thanks for bringing back the memories

  • Did you see Eddie live when he toured the UK?

I was 3 years old when he died.

  • LOve this song makes me cry

  • I like the picture pf eddy with his guitar, I was going to buy 1 and do that song thanks rovertcb.

  • This will always be my favourite Eddie Cochran-song. Just a wonderful little tune, full of emotion...makes me dream and weep at once.

    RIP Eddie, you´re sadly missed!

  • Beautiful song, why was it not a hit before?

  • It was the flipside of Teenage Heaven, released early 1959, the single bombed. Eddie never really had a follow-up hit to the Summertime Blues (1958) in the States. You are dead right 'though; this is a beautiful song. I'm not crazy about Eddie's crooning, but this is a masterpiece!

  • Haha, don't worry, you will get used to Eddie's crooning :)

But like you said, he was a rocker above all.

  • Always a pleasure RoverTCB: You have forgotten more than I know about our beloved Eddie!

  • If I were a film producer I would use this song in a love story film and this would be a hit!

  • I love so much this song...
