for us asians to point the finger at blacks and call them racist over a song and boycott one of the very stations that put so much work into helping people in hiphop (including you) is negative.
If you feel people are ignorant, don't hate them, learn to forgive and just speak your mind through your music or on video or whatever.
But to try and actively separate asian kids from HOT 97 is just abuse of your power as a role model
Teach our asian kids about racism, not about unforgiveness
I am asian and I have no reason to listen to someone based on the fact that they are asian, specially when hiphop is music built from the tremendous pain of the black people, you don't see blacks trying to act like the best thing in chinese music, because it's not right.
There is room for you in hiphop jin, but be more humble. Quit being so demanding with a gift that the black people have shared with us.
Good luck jin, I hope you get all the love you need, brother.
don't miss the top Asiatic rappers in Southern CA on day 2 of the 6th annual Asian Hip Hop Summit Los Angeles, Sat Jan 26, 2008 at Summit Theatre (Catalina/Wilshire)in Koreatown L.A.
