I really dont even see why george has a signature randall-_- when my band opened for him in october of 2010, he had two marshalls on stage, which were some old super leads, i believe his famous 1968 was one of them, and then his randall...but he only used the randall on one or two songs out of like 12. I think he only has a signature model for money
@wxp24 Gee ya think?? what gave that away...lol of course he doesn't use it. He's an endorsement whore. That said, he's got a great ear for tone..i have a lynchbox, great amp when you mod the stock modules slightly.
dave is cool guy but hard to get a hold of he always says he will call you back but he had my gear for a month and still hasnt got back to me.. he is a busy busy guy... i think he needs to up his hours... other then that he is a guru for sure...
They are the Ei (Elektronska Industrija) brand from Yugoslavia. They are modeled after the Philips design and made with the famous "flat plate" Telefunken pre-amp audio tube. Supposed to be the best of the best tubes. I haven't used them before. I use JJ Electronics in my 6100LM. Some info on the Ei's at thetubestore.
nuthing much man, in have a bit of a bloked nose thogh, but ifinelly somened up meny hundreds or money so im getting a randall RH150G3 tomorow morning, i cant explain how exighted i am. what about you?
I'm pretty sure George was talking about the Brahma module and NOT the Super V module in this video to let everyone know. The Super V is based off a Vox amp and the Brahma is based on a Marshall. He just got them mixed up in the video. Dave Friedman's mod's on the Randall modules make them sound like $3000 amp's, no joke.
The price is very fair and he is fast. I can't recommend him enough.

What transformers are those in the Randall head? They don't look anything like the ones in my RM100.

omg.. lol he pulled those tubes out so fast and easy. I always have to jiggle them a bit and then watch the ends of the tubes.

This video is awesome. I'm glad Dave comes across as just a cool guitar/amp guru rather than some kind of corporate shill. He is THE man!!!

Great vid .. thx for posting. You would think that Dave Friedman would be able to sell his business a little better than that.
