To all the alarmists who think these dogs aren't playing, just look at their tails. While most dogs will play fight quietly, some dogs - especially toy breeds - can be quite vocal. I've got a little pom and he is a grumbler. Even when he is getting his belly rubbed, he will growl like he's angry, but if I stop he wiggles and pulls my hand back to his belly with his paws.

@Legatofan4ever both are males and they dont play together very often. The chi is 11 yrs old now. He doesn't really "play" anymore. They do sleep together and stuff. My other Chi is a year younger than my pit and they are best buds. He's also a male.

This was 2 years ago. The dogs harmed no one then and to this day, they STILL haven't. The pit is the sweetest dog I have ever seen in my life. He wasn't nipping, he grabbed her by the pants leg.
That is unacceptable behaviour for any dog. Laughing and giggling is just going to encourage the nipping behaviour. And I highly doubt that the pitbull was trying to get the girl away from the Chihuahua. I think he wanted to play, got over excited, and started nipping. Both of these dogs should have been taught from day one that putting their mouths on any human play or not. It is pretty funny tho that the Chi was putting that big pitty in his place.

The girl is teasing the chihuahua in the beginning of the video in order for it to behave like that. Not a behavior for a responsible dog owner. Somebody should take her dogs away from her before an accident happen. Thats exactly how you create animals that are not in balance, unhappy, insecure and dangerous.

@Indraxima lol. She's trying to pet the chihuahua, not tease it. That particular chihuahua has been hers for 11 years. He was a show dog with perfect bloodlines. Now in his older age he is grouchy and considers any other animal a threat to his "kingdom". Wise up a little before leaving ignorant comments.

This was 2 years ago. The dogs harmed no one then and to this day, they STILL haven't. The pit is the sweetest dog I have ever seen in my life. He wasn't nipping, he grabbed her by the pants leg.

That is unacceptable behaviour for any dog. Laughing and giggling is just going to encourage the nipping behaviour. And I highly doubt that the pitbull was trying to get the girl away from the Chihuahua. I think he wanted to play, got over excited, and started nipping. Both of these dogs should have been taught from day one that putting their mouths on any human play or not. It is pretty funny tho that the Chi was putting that big pitty in his place.
