@Cantdanceforreal use a lure, catch a female, squeeze her eggs out, leave 90% of them in the water and keep 10% of them .... or if you're keeping the fish, keep all the eggs when u fillet her!!!
cool vid but i wouldnt use food grade anise...use a few drops of pure anise oil instead...also add sugar and a little fine pro-cure brax and those eggs would be perfect.
i got skunked using these...but I heard they work depending on what part of the season you fish them

Jello and borax cure goes a long way! Cure the skein, cut it on the river.

i have found if you cure the whole skein and cut it up at the river it stays on the hook longer before it turns too mush.
