It's one thing to listen to this music in terms of today's tunes, but to hear this for the first time when it was "new", now that was great. Great party song!

This words are for Brad Delp who died and he was the leader of this band so sad so sad for him and us to loose a singer which band called Boston issued so many songs with the sound of a guitar oldies of the 70' this song belongs to 1978 Iistened at October memories for me
how the guitar used to dominate the airwaves...positively. Great writing, vocals, innovative sounds (Tom Sholz's "Rockman"), emotive. We won't see an era like this again. But I'm sure we'll be able to download some holographic app in due time to pick a synthetic era of your choice. Also, the LP record was a warm analog spiral, not the cold digital "bites" of today. The LP spun from the outside in with a flip in technology and perception, the CD reads from the inside out...soon to be extinct.
@decomposingprophet Not to be a downer or anything but all the rockers feel that wayat the ages thirteen to seventeen. Atleast I know that's how I felt, then you realize a couple of years later that fucking everybody listens to classic rock, you just only notice the ones listening to obnoxious pop anthems.
@decomposingprophet I wouldnt really call tyler the creator generic or pop. Hes not really underground but I cant say hes mainstream. And Boston was HUGE in their time, theyre essentially equivalent to someone like Wiz in todays age.
@decomposingprophet the way i see it, i have never been into todays music, growing up my parents played boston 8 tracks and so many other classic bands, I am only 18, i can't stand most modern music, with the acception of a few good modern rock songs.
damn..another heartbreaker..hard to do.especially with kitty..i cant stop looking back and i know im destroying myself and kicking myself in the ass and not permitting myself to move on..but ..thats what she did to me in no time...damn..if it would have worked, we'd be engaged right now and married next year..

1 Person needs a lesson in what REAL MUSIC is...how the hell can you DISLIKE this song? You must be fucking mentally retarded or deaf...one of the two, cause there's no other explanation for that blasphemy.
I love Boston and i grew up with this album but seeing them live in 78 was a HUGE disappointment. They are so over produced on album that they could not do this stuff live. It sounded about an 1/8th as impressive as this. Note to bands.. Don't over produce yourself and then let your fans down Live.
@roquefortfiles Fast forward to 1987 to their Third Stage Tour. I heard them live in Nashville TN at the starwood amplitheater. They had nailed their live performances to match the studio! It was amazing then. But they are one of the few groups that most other bands refuse to even attempt to cover songs by.
0 dislikes because BOSTONS is rated one of the best band ever. they invented a new guitar and they played to make money for college (MIssissippi TSate University)

Man, sometimes I forget how awesome the older rock songs really are. This reminds me of being a little kid and being taking to the beach by my (really hot) baby sitter Cheryl on a hot summer day. That and the smell of Coppertone. Does that make me weird?
@GeneLattanzi LOL, absolutely NOT! I live in South Florida and every time I hear this song, I just feel like getting in my car and drive to the beach with all windows rolled down and this song BLASTING!!
