You need a new mascara every month since mascara contains bat poop (no, I am not making this up) so therefore it rots. Same with lipstick.

@Woodenbricks123 You actually are making it up. It only contains guanine, which is a derivitive of guano, which is bat poop, but every single product today with guanine is synthetic.

Check your sources. You need to change your mascara every 2-3 months, not every month, and this is to prevent eye infection.

Also, if you do more than one coat it will flake, atleast on me. I have the same problem as this model and the only mascara I have found that doesn't smudge is Maybelline 'Unstoppable' mascara. I now go all day at work or for a night out and not look like a tragic mess at the end! It's actually weird looking in the mirrror when I get home and not have black circles under my eyes. I wish I found that stuff 10 years ago.

It basically coats your lashes with a 'tube' of mascara that you pull off with a small amount of water at night. It's weird because it looks like your pulling your eyelashes out! It works pretty good, but is very hard to build up, so I only use in the daytime.
