to Applian: I need technical help. This application does not record any videos other than youtube which I have been doing with realplayer for ages already. I wanted to record a different media which it can't. I cannot remove the applian app from my browser and that tool bar is using up browser space. There is nothing in my "remove software" in vista that will allow removal. Where can I obtain information as to how to remove this (entirely). Thank you.

Sorry guys but applian tools only allow you to save 75% of the cideo in demo mode so its fail.

I use Mozilla so don't know if this problem exists with Explorer. I launch Freecorder and start some audio going and it just says it's waiting for audio. I've finally found a way to get it to work every time. Open Mozilla and launch Freecorder from the toolbar and leave it open. Close Mozilla then reopen it. Freecorder then will work every time and not sit waiting for audio.

@Crossthefuture The Freecorder Toolbar is our free audio recorder with a few bonus tools like the video history tool and converter. However, it is not a full-featured stream downloader. It works fine for many sites like YouTube, etc., but you may need a full featured stream recorder (like Replay Media Catcher) to get some of the more hard to capture sites. The Video History Tool (button) is next to the YouTube Downloader Tool on the toolbar. Find it? :)

This indicates that Freecorder 4 is able to "hear" the audio you want saved. 3. When you're finished, hover over the recording window and click the Stop Recording button.

I have a problem where the audio clips I record are deepened. Basically it sounds like they're echoing inside a cave when I play them. Totally different than the audio source which sounds normal. How do I fix this? Was never a problem before until recently.

@7063keisha Are you using freecorder 4? Or Replay Converter? No reason why freecorder 4 shouldn't convert an entire video for you. If you are having conversion problems with it I would suggest you write tech support. Click on the support tab from the applian home page. But if you are using Replay Converter it will only convert part of a video in demo mode. Hope that helps,

@timbowabo Hey Freecorder 4 doesn't come with an editing piece - but you can use a program like Replay Media Splitter to edit out a clip. It's really easy to use.

How do you recoder videos

Hi - Just click on the "Video History" button. Any video that you have played that Freecorder4 can record will be listed there. To save a permanent copy on your hard drive just click the second button down from the top - the one that looks like a disc and your video will be saved. It's super easy.

I used one of the earlier Freecorder toolbars (Think it was a couple back from this one) It didnt have the video capture tho just audio & As it was FREE I wasnt expecting to much to be honest BUT Having used it the first time I was Really Impressed with the quality of sound once id recorded & played back the audio, I since upgraded pc & have been looking for this again & This version looks even better than the one i used, Havin tried a lot of FREE sftware this has to be 1 of The BEST

This tool is amazing - but it cant' capture EVERYTHING - it's possible the site you are trying to capture isn't something it can grab.
