great job describing how its done. Im trying to find a video on how to prepare a hide for making clothing, blankets etc with the hair on. Do you know of any videos on that?

Jccrick123, you can shop for acid by name: rittel's Saftee acid is a good one. 1/2 oz per gallon of water, I think. Every manufacturer has different concentrations, but the instructions are on the bottle. Try PCS Outdoor or Jonas Supply co. Good luck!
