I havent used this for fishing but would have to say it would be great SOLO. 2 people would be pretty tight with poles being thrown around. 1 person would be very comfortable with room for gear. My opinion is that this is far less "tippy" then other conoes I have been in.
The canyon looks similar to the colorado, only thing notice different is no motor mount on the canyon. I only have experience with the colorado so I cant really give any good recommendations but Ive been very happy with the colorado being somewhat of a beginner.
I'm thinking about getting one sevylor Colorado but I would love an advice from you. what about leaking? thanks!

How comfortable is it to use it as a solo craft? I am looking for a fishing platform and it looks like it would work.
