Money does very much play a substantial role in the motivation of those institutions, so I'm definitely not dismissing that point, but in terms of an ENDGAME, an ultimate goal, I'd personally say it has a lot to do with 'taking America back fer Jeysus!' In other words, supremacy.
According to a lot of the stuff I've read, that is unfortunately the consequential goal of a lot of these institutions in a more broader sense. And for that reason, they can indeed go burn in the black belching bowels of hellfire and brimstone! >;D
Very well said.

Many people seem to want to be played upon, they want to be afraid. That is their entertainment, I think.
And then, there are those who will take opportunity to push fear on their audience, for a reward of course. It doesn't always have to be 'money'.
I think labeling 'Creationist' may be the wrong term. How about something having to do with destruction or chaos?

if that IS their goal, then they can all go rot in the sulfurous pit of hades. Supremacy and anti-rationalism have a late 1930s European feel
