  • Thanks for your service Lisa! I wish we had more patriots like you!!

  • that was breath taking i can i make love to you

  • check out the version by folk singer eric andersen, on his waves album!! your version is great too!!!

  • What a beautiful, beautiful redition of my favorite Tim Buckley song! I can't tell whose vocal is better, yours or his...

  • did your mum&dad tell you that sometime's they cry.

  • Beautiful. Just beautiful.

I found myself having chills as I did/do when Tim sings it.

Lovely, strong voice. I hope to hear more from you.

    Thank you

  • Very beautiful cover ; nice to see young people with talent and good taste.

    Thanks for posting it! :)

  • I heard that song done in 1969 at the Woodenville Pop Festival.

I had heard the album a few times but was not into it.

A few years later I started liking Tim Buckley, but forgot about Woodenville.

I did not remember it until I heard you sing it.

    Thanks for posting that.

  • You got the guitar after the gathering, the Rainbow Gathering?

  • nice!!

  • looking like ingrid bergman here ;)

  • Nice guitar-nice voice - i love thte original-its only a suggestion but think about the feelin and dont feel weird about singin it strange.I enoyed anyway. Thanks.

  • I love you!

  • I have said before how much I appreciate your rendition of so many of my favourite songs. Please break your silence.

  • this is so.. lovely

  • i like this!!

    it's an 'old' song,

but the way you bring it, it's refreshing ;)

keep up this thing you have!

  • It seems that you have given up the music and gone on to something else.I hope not forever, because I return to your performances again and again.Best wishes in whatever you may choose, but please come back and sing for us once again

  • A lovely take. :)

  • Nice Cover

  • great job! check out my cover of this song some time

  • that was decent, you have a good voice, but I prefer the key of the original song, your vocals remix me of the Cranberries

  • I agree with the comments about the guitar. Sounds like you have a realy nice voice, but it's drowned out a bit by the guitar. Overall very nice though :)

  • not good..show ur feet instead

  • That's so immature.

  • beautiful!

  • I really like your voice a lot but on this particular song, I think the guitar sort of takes over and maybe overpowers your vocals a bit. I listened to your cover of the song, "Early Morning Rain" and there is a perfect match of your vocals with the guitar...... A beautiful blend of guitar and voice when you did that song.

  • @folkmusicgirl I agree - I think you should finger pick this one. It would compliment your voice (which is lovely, by the way) far more - as opposed to your strumming, which drowns it out a bit.

  • gorgeous ;))

  • Having been in the Army at that time, seeing a young person remember feels very special

  • It made me shiver, it's really beautiful and powerful. I just wish we could hear your voice a little more compared to the guitar. Thank you for sharing your talent with us, you are really amazing and have great musical taste :)

  • Keep going girl, and tell me... what a music ah... pure trueness, Tim buckley is one of those who comes up to speak for us, this music is pure trueness and heart!!!

  • Tim Buckley is my favorite musician living or dead. He is not easy to cover. You have done so wonderfully.

I second luxcille's motion. You definitely sound a lot like Melanie Safka and believe me that is a compliment.

  • Sandy Denny?

  • very beautiful lisa you have such talent.wow

  • Guitar is out of tune, ouch...

The Capo sometimes sends it out even though its in tune open.

But your voice and feel is great..

  • A fine performance. I love women who sound like women and not like little girls.

  • Great vocals- a little rough yet silky smooth with a shimmery vibrato. Love it!

  • very nice!

  • beautiful interpretation

  • harmonious and sober. Simple but enough to tell us about the magic world of music. While listening to you I had the will to play and sing with you.

  • very good

  • get your self in the studio, really enjoyed that, well done x

  • Great!!! It's so nice to see a young talent covering Tim Buckley...it takes me back!

  • It's very good, I have a tear in my eye.

    The song suits your voice.

  • You are a star Lisa! This is a wonderful cover. Keep up the good work.

  • Tim Buckley : the impossible became reality

  • The chords after Am in the chorus is F not C.

  • Correct, but she's actually doing it right. It looks like a C she is playing but it is actually an Fmaj which is perfect cuz it fits in with the other maj's she's playing.

Lovely. Lisa I am a fan.

  • the chords after the Am in the chorus in F not C.

  • beautiful.. the way you sing is great.. a perfect cover for a perfect song :)

  • Lisa , the way you play and sing is just amazing,

  • The best Tim Buckley cover i've heard in youtube...just perfect...Tim would be very proud listening to you covering this most beautiful song...just fantastic!

  • lovely beyond words...new tune to me ...

  • Very nice! Avery emotional version of a song that deserves a great interpretation such as yours. Good job. A

  • This is just beautiful:) Go strong Lisa! :D

  • You have a great voice! I think you would sound beautiful covering Melanie Safka's "Close To It All". - You're awesome!

  • Tim was so good, and then Jeff. I knew neither one of them could last. The intensity was too great for this life. Jeff live was a never forget experience. I never got to see Tim live, but they both live on. You do this song justice.

  • I actually got chills during the "Sometimes I wonder" - amazing singing!!

  • This is great Lisa. I heard this song when I was in junior high in the late 80's early 90's. My dad was in Vietnam in 1967-68 and used to watch all these documentaries about it as I grew up. I remember in one of them an amazing scene—a montage of footage that was set to this song and I just loved it. That was well before I was interested in this kind of music and even knew who Tim was. Such a beautiful song and you covered it wonderfully. Thanks for sharing!!

  • You remind me of Sandy Denny. And covering Tim. Unbeatable combo!

  • zoomer1954 sun 11-23-08 hearing you sing tim's songs makes my day go so much better thank you zoom chigago il

    Bye

  • Thank you...I love Tim's music & you are wonderful...beautiful interp. All the best, Briar

  • I love this song. Tim Buckley was great. Your version is great as well.

  • I first heard this song, in 1967, and it brought tears to my eyes...41 years later, it still does.....beautiful!

  • Simple and perfect.

  • Wow! I remember the scenes in the movie Coming Home where they played this song while Jon Voight's character is speaking to high school seniors about the realities of war, and Bruce Dern's character swims out to sea alone. A very powerfull piece of music. Nice job! :)

  • Lovely performance Lisa.Tim would smile to hear this.

    :)

    Keep up the good work!

  • i'm in love

  • Hi Lisa. Love this song. Great cover. You soar so well into the chorus and second verse. Will cover it myself soon. You could return the view and take a look at some of my stuff. I'm gonna have a wander through some of your other songs. Lovely.

  • that was first class !!!!!

  • Lisa,

You have GREAT taste in music and such a BEAUTIFUL voice. I'd love to hear you do "Last Goodbye" or "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" by Jeff Buckley. I hope to hear originals some day and wish you much success. You definitely deserve it!

  • Once i was, song to the siren, Who knows where the time goes, northern sky, morning morgantown... you sing a lot of my favourite folk songs ever, with very good taste and gentleness. I'm moved

  • You've been busy Lisa, nice song and nice new hairstyle!!
