I'm sorry I couldn't capture on video the fireflies, but felt that recording and posting the waiting line was something others had avoided. So, if you want to see videos of the fireflies, look elsewhere for those who used better recording equipment. Thanks

Very informative, I was considering driving down from Kingsport on Wednesday.

Wow, you were there on Monday @ 4:30, left @ 7:30, the last car allowed in before 7:00? Rumor has it this occurs in other locations in the Smokies, this looks a little too crowded for me.

What about your traveling buddy, what did he think of the show.

We left the staging area at 7:00PM to board the $1 trolley ride, the only legitimate form of transportation to the viewing area. There have been unconfirmed reports of sightings elsewhere in the park, but data does support that this only occurs at a 1200 ft elevation during mid June.
