It looks like she might have heated the fudge a little too much... cause it looks a little grainy right before she pours it in the tin. So don't heat it quite so much... just till it is all melted.

Made them yesterday.. So quick and easy to prepare and the result is simply delicious! Sweet, firm and gooey at the same time, so incredibly chocolaty, pistachios giving very nice crunch. I'll be making them again! And again!! And again!!!

@sk394 dark chocolate is just right. take 50% chocolate, condensed milk will compensate bitterness of dark chocolate. i took raw pistachios, but i think this fudge will be absolutely perfect with other types of nuts too, like walnuts or hazelnuts(dont forget to roast them first). Or even raisins or dried apricots...

And to make it even more Xmasy :) you can dust pieces of fudge with cocoa powder with some added ground cinnamon or cardamom

Hi! You can use sweet almonds instead of pistachios. You can also make it without nuts but it'll be very sweet, the nuts help to break the excess of sugar.
