Voice of an Angel !! the sound of her dulcet, reassuring voice made a troopies Sunday afternoon (even if you did have to resort to devious means to listen it on guard at Kariba wall !!) listening a pleasue. thank you - God bless and R.I.P. -
This is a trubute to Sally and most certainly not to IDS. I will pull the video should there be grandiose references to Smith because I can't stand the man and his politics.
Just travelled 30 years back in time, thanks to this piece on Sally's renowned radio show, to a great land known then as Rhodesia. What memories! Sad to learn of Sally's passing. R.I.P.
Sad to say Sally Donaldson, the "Sweetheart of the Rhodesian Forces" died on 14 January 2002. She was admitted to hospital in Harare for a throat biopsy, and was operated on. She was 57 years old, and leaves a son and a daughter, both in Zimbabwe. She made life bearable.

Sally Donaldson did more for the troopies than Ian & his cronies ever did!
