My dad is paralyzed on the right side from 6 months, however his leg begin to work, but his hand remained sensless, how many time it take to full recover.?? pls answer

I remember reading something which said this young man originally needed 4 people to help him stand and walk, and could only go a few steps. It's inspiring to see him now only need 1 person and be able to walk so far!! Looking forward to more reports!!
