and with good reason, this is probably one of the biggest and hardest forms that Dracula ever had in the whole series

Dracula's attacks take 500HP regardless of how much defense and level you have. That is a huge chunk of any health you have in the game at this point. So dodging up at the clouds is a smart tactic. Never though of using the spears, I usually just used the whip and circle motioned it to stop the blood. Bats were a bit different, I used the cross for them.

flying to the top of the stage is really the only thing you CAN do. Dracula does this thing where he charges across the stage several times. He's completely invincible while he does it and it does massive amounts of damage. Like more than half your health at normal levels with normal gear damage. Still though, I didn't find him that hard. Andramalech and the Dragon Zombies gave me more trouble. Abusing the boomerang and a shield power to keep the bats at bay makes smiting the eye easy.

Depends which mode you're playing, Mage is pretty easy because you can just summon the crap out of him, but I remember the first time I played through and fought him... he was a nightmare.

Just use the Cockatrice summon to whip him good . When he charges , dodge with Roc's Wing . When he turns into a bat , obliterate him with the Thunderbird summon and he will eventually die...
