  • same here... i'll be playing josh in my school's production, any tips on how to play this role?

  • Sort of jumping off of louiejosephdiaz417 asked....I am also in a production of Rimers going up in November. Can anyone toss me some advice about Skelly Mannor?

  • Can anyone tell me about the role of Peck? I am playing peck for our school play and I just want to know a little bit more about the part.

  • @louiejosephdiaz417 Peck, as I'm sure you know, is the father of Patsy and Josh, and husband to Mavis. He, like several other members of the town, is a farmer, though he and the others have had a bit of trouble farming thanks to the poor weather conditions in Eldritch (i.e. the rime in the Winter, and the floods in the Spring.) He's not getting out of the town by this poit, a fact that he is well aware of, and has just settled into a routine life dedicated to his work and his family.

  • @louiejosephdiaz417 Peck is also definitely tired. Granted, being Patsy and Josh's father, who can blame him?

  • Hmm, I think Somerville should look into better actors.

  • Are you serious? This is AWFUL. This can't be real.

  • This was no good. Our cast watch this video as a "what not to do...ever". Nelly is the funniest part in this video. She has like a power stance into her lines.

  • My highschool kicked this rendition's ass. It's not even funny how much they all suck.

  • im doing this now and this looks miserable

  • This is the best rendition of Rimers that I have ever seen! Mary is so believable and extremely talented. But, I never knew that the role of Robert was supposed to be played by Pedro from Napolean Dynamite. Grrrrr - to Cora and Walter ;]

We are performing this piece at our HS and we have watched your video and we have some big shoes to fill. Please ignore these stupid people below - you know you had a great show!

  • I feel so much better about our production of Rimers after seeing this. Wow. Phail

  • *looks at the ratings* Is there anything below poor available?

  • my high school did sooo much better than this!!!

  • i have taken painful constipated dumps that were more enjoyable than this show. you guys suck.

  • Are you kidding me? My HIGH SCHOOL production of this was hundreds of times better then what of seen in this video. Wow.

  • @loverlyxl3

    Mine too

  • So that really sucked.

  • i commented this video a month ago-

my school did this play and we won the 1A state champoinship on Thursday May 28, i played the part of Walter

  • @coondog2012 you guys have championships for plays? what?

  • I'm in this show now. And I must say I've been using this as a helpful aide....to show me what NOT to do.

  • When I was in university, my drama class put on a production of this play. I was cast as Martha Truit. It seems like such a long time ago, now. I still saved the script and the programs, too.

  • Okay, about the dumbest trailer you could make for this play. I've been in it before, so I know the story. I was disturbed.
