Bjorn Borg is the only guy on the planet who's "cooler" than Chuck Norris. Borg was so cool, that when he walked into a hot room that had the air-conditioning running, someone in the room immediately ran to turn it off.............the air was no longer needed as Mr. Borg cooled off the room! Vamos!
Don't generalize. Nobody has beenworse than the english fan. After all they even invented the word hooligan to adress their fans. You are ridiculous. English and Serbian, and Spanish fans far worse.
Actually Panatta was much more versatile than Borg. Just not as consistent or dedicated overall. But other than Nastase in his prime, and now Federer noone was as smooth in as many facets of the game. I actually saw Panatta in person serving up 6-4, and 5-3 for the match in a wct event in P. Rico vs Connors. He broke his frame on a routine forehand. He picked up another racket from his bag and proceeded to lose 46, 75, 63. That is an ex, of how good he could be, but also how flaky as well.
totally right. I'm italian, everybody here knows that Adriano was one of the purest talented tennis player in history, but non so dedicated. Great comment.
Ohh you are here too, show us your cleverness. Borg had dificulties against Adriano maybe every time that he played versus the italian he was injuerd of his right thumb or played on green clay or hard surface. Maybe, maybe, maybe.......
Borg always had a difficult time with Panatta. I've looked at their head-to-head records, including exos, and it was almost always close between them. Panatta just wasn't as consistent nor as versatile.
La solita classe del pubblico romano.

Throwing coins at Borg while he was playing; how Italian, they never disappoint me when it comes to sports, always acting like jerks.
