Thanos, first off, sas efharisto poli. Ever since I left Constaninople and returned to Ireland I have been pining to do something with all the Rembetiko tunes I learned there. May I ask you what tuning you are using? Mine is DGBE, but I want to follow your lesson, so I need to be on the same tuning.

Thank you for going over the basics cus I never had a teacher...I was wondering if it is ok to slightly let your hand rest on the strings between the bridge and tailpiece?

i know that you dont have a teacher and i know im not god at bouzouki but. it is not correct to rest your hand anywere on the bouzouki apart from your for arm on the edge of the bouzouki. look, do a test. play a note repetadly with your hand resting and then play it without resting. and you will find that if resting it sounds more flat and boxed in and if not resting it will sound more open and clear.

Thank u sodiri...ive been practicing the correct way of picking for a couple weeks now...i did notice a dramatic difference in clarity of my notes...the sound used to be kinda muffled and bassy...i just need to get better at my tremolos now and i should be ok...na se kala file
