Screamo? why do harsh vocals in metal always get labelled as screamo?? Protector is a Thrash/death hybrid, which it would sound much more aggressive than traditional bay area thrash....

Lamb of God is lame compared to this band, LOG is overly chuggy groove/metalcore, and if anything, they try to sound like protector, not the other way around, Fucking Protector!! \m/

No doubt the most underrated Death band or Death/Thrash band ever. I bought this CD along with their previous one about ten years ago and thought they were the best death metal albums I have ever heard along with Bolt Thrower. My favorite track off of The Heritage is "Chronology." Just insane.

sounds more like screamo metal to me.... and sounds way more like lamb of god than any thrash i know.... when i say thrash im talkin about tha real thrash...exodus metalica death angel exc....... heck diamond head sounds more like thrash than this.....but i will admit this beats any other screamo ive ever heard

This is German style death/thrash. There are a few examples like Protector which is making this kind of precious hybird music. You may also check Massacra from France.

awesome thanx. i might start listenin to some of this. atleast not all bands are talentless now days lol. my thing is i just wanna bring back old style of music. i play guitar and i wanna play thrash. old style. but cant find anyone cause everyone that lives anywere around here plays nothing but emo stuff like devil wears prada and underoath...... and i dont know about yall, but that stuff just dont really cut it for me
