Even if chair ends and possibility of dair ends it doesn't matter. Chuck is abusive, and he has never treated Blair right AND people still support/justify the existence of Chuck Bass. If putting an end to romanticizing abuse of women on such a popular TEEN drama comes at the price of losing dair it frankly sounds like quite a good deal to me. Also, on a shallow note - we don't get our endgame, but you don't get yours either. And we have the better storyline.
I was always a chair fan from season 1-3 but then it got just boring and i loved the scenes with dan and blair even if it was a scene they were fighting. and now im just happy to see a realationship who really based on a friendship. DAIR ! ♥
Serena ends up with no one and actually figures herself out for a change and work on being independent. Chuck learning with his mistakes and out of the darkness (whatever). Nate, living a more fulfilling life (maybe with charlie). Dan and Blair, together with the love that they deserve. I'm hoping the endgame is somewhere along these lines..
