Odd. I really HATED Laura being with Stefan, but I have to totally agree with Mat. RealLoisLane says soaps defy logic and emotions--logic, perhaps, but humans aren't always logical. Emotions--that's where we all seem to mess up.
Part of Stefan's reason for keeping Leslie a secret was so obviously his love/hatred for Laura. Even when she was revealed, he had to do it with a convoluted, taunting, video game, which almost got Lucky killed!

Oh I don't know if I can watch this M!! I loved the conversation between Luke and Lesley.... but once Felicia walke din... then Laura on that bench with sTefan... I'm NOT gonna like this, am I????? LOL

Yep Felicia has a bad habit of walking in on conversations in this storyline. Gets a little annoying after a while, imo. L&L scenes together in this story are very few and far between so yeah...it'll be interesting to see if you make it through the whole thing or not. lol

But Luke and Felicia ?????? They didn't work AT ALL... did they... there seems to be NO connection what so ever... NO CHEMISTRY!!! (she couldn't keep up with TG) ... now Laura and Stefan... as much as I HATE IT... Stephen Nichols and Genie FRancis seemed to be better matched. Better actors.

@sussezq Yeah Stupid Felicia had to walk in on Luke and Leslie! I was so angry at her and hated her back then at this time with the mystery with Luke and then she had to be in the middle of Luke and Laura finding Lucky! UGH! Felicia had to be in the middle of everything! UGH!

Very true, but I still say it's better he did what he did so that she could be reunited with her family later, than what he could have done which was turn his back while Helena slit her throat. That's in GH logic. In real life, I'm with you on this one and he should have called Laura as soon as he had a chance to do so and let her know that Lesley was still alive. Going back to GH logic, Laura would have done something impulsive that resulted in Lesley being killed.

Following that logic, Stefan did what he could to keep Lesley AND Laura alive. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place! I'm not so much justifying it as trying to explain what was going through the character's mind when he made the choices he made. As far as Laura dating him in later years...all I'll say is...whatever floats her boat. Sometimes you can't help who you love, no matter how destructive they might be. That's an unfortunate fact of life, unfortunately.

Matuatay2 -- there is no justification for making a family think someone was dead for 13 years! Stefan could've told Laura the truth and kept Lesley somewhere safe until Helen was IN JAIL for attempted murder!!!!! This is why soaps are stupid ---they defy human logic of feelings. And why was Lesley languishing in an attic during her captivity and not someplace nice. And there is no justification for Laura dating him. NONE!!!!

Well to be fair, if Stefan hadn't done what he did with Lesley, Helena would have killed her. She's the one who caused the car accident that had supposedly killed Lesley and Stefan found Lesley shortly after it happened and took her into hiding before Helena could finish the job. I agree it wasn't the best decision to keep the woman in a coma for 10 years and not somehow tell Laura about it, but I suppose it's better than just letting Helena kill her, as was the plan.

I HATED that Laura had an affair with Stefan, her mother's kidnapper and when Lesley had a problem with it, Laura told Lesley to get over it. I mean really. Lesley lost her husband, home, son, career and all Laura can tell her is to move on when Lesley becomes upset at laura's involvement with Stefan. Laura was deaad to me at that point. It made no sense whatsoever.

I agree with you! For God's sake - he took her mother away from her life and everybody just overlooked that and sipped brandy with the guy - discusting and stupid writing!
