these guys didn't even get high FZ wouldn't let musicians that got high play with him..if he found out you were using he would kick you out. FZ did an anti speed commercial back in the mid sixties...that's how cool he was...
Yeah in the Zappa biography, people often give accounts of coming into the studio to find the band walking around stoned while Frank just sat there working.
i'm just reading a zappa biography and sure enough most of the original mothers band (ie the band behind this album) were on drugs, zappa was the only one who abstained
I'm clean now been you a long time but am very bless to have made it out of LA most of my old friends are either dead in jail or in rehab...mostly dead unluckily
