  • I wonder if you could run a cable lock through the holes in the locking mechanism, and through the square holes that the prongs lock into, so if someone did find them, they can't get to your shit immediately.

  • @gunfan50bmg You sure could.

  • @LegendSexy

Thanks for posting this great, and informative video, my brother. Take care, and stay safe!

  • Great video Legend!

  • @dhfountain Thanks bubba!

  • hey buddy that was a excellent video. I commend you on your choice of items in every cashe

  • @gettinready101 Thanks!

  • cool

  • @sugerbear520 Thanks

  • You seem to know alot bout storage, I know long grain white rice, honey, beans, are good long term storage, what kind of foods are best for long term mylar storage?

  • @Lexingtonprepdude All grains and freeze dried food.

  • comment lol

  • @yinglyca answer lol

  • Problem with these metal canisters is that they light up like crazy on a metal detector and anyone walking around with one will find them easily.

Also, you're complicating things... it's much easier to burry them vertically with a post holer.

  • @KiloSierraAlpha I hate digging post holes lol.

  • Heres a question... Why do you cahce your preps and how do you place them?

  • @WildAndLiving I dont cache all preps. Maybe 5 percent of them are stached. I show how in the video.

  • great video!!

  • @rugerguy08 Thanks

  • You can bury these in your yard under flower beds, rock gardens, etc. Then you use post hole diggers so you can bury them upright, smaller hole, and easier access. I use single shot rifles and shotguns broken down, 2 knives, bankline, ammo, food, and wool clothes. I add 3 ways to start fires, a saw blade, and first aid, as well as 1 qt of bleach. I figure the single shot rifle can get me a multi shot weapon just by shooting someone who has one, and it doubles as a game getter, and self defense.

  • @mem7048 Nice

  • Didn't catch if you mentioned it but spread some nails and bottle cabs around the area to hinder metal detectors.

  • @meatloafzombie I forgot to mention stuff like that.

  • Excellent!

  • @docsimonson Thanks

  • goes to favorites

  • @luis545x39 Sweet!

  • Another great vid! I send all my bro's that are interested in prep your way!!

  • nice vid bro!!!

  • @TheJebus88 Thanks

  • I can't afford to spend 300 bucks on a rifle and hide it in a park. if someone grabs it, I'll be pissed. This is for people with a lot more money than I have.

  • @DEMCAD I bought my SKS's when they were 65 bucks and people thought they were crap.

  • @DEMCAD Concentrate on evasion then. Go with sling shots with extra power bands and a couple bags of .30 cal shot. Or buy old single shot bolt action .22 lr rifles for hunting and store a few of those. Maybe used Hi-Point hand guns. I'd be reluctant burying hand guns though. They are probably traceable.

  • @DEMCAD

You can get cheap guns. A single shot 12 gauge is $99 at Walmart. You can even saw it down if you wanted (not legal, but it's a cache).

I think you can get surplus Mosins for like $100 as well. It doesn't have to be a $400 SKS. :)

  • @DEMCAD

Hell, you could even stash a break barrel Pellet gun. $100.

Quiet and deadly in the right hands.

  • What it that knife called ? is it good? + Great Video! oh yeah can u fill water in those lol just wondering!

  • @slimnskinny The pointer was a Benchmade 530 Rei Version and the other was a Sharade Old timer Sharpfinger.

  • good vid legend this vid just poped up i am not getting half of the vid's of ppl i am subbed to youtube is all messed up

  • @MrVTHILLBILLY Thanks! Ya I have to search my favorites out. They never pop up.

  • Hey DesertSafire that's ME... lol Thank you soo much for the video YES you answered ALL my questions and THEN SOME!!! I would really like to know more about that flashlight you had that works by squeezing the handle!! This is a fantastic video, thank you soo much for taking YOUR time to put it together, I hope others find it as helpful as I do!!

  • @DesertSafire Good:) Ill do a vid on that too sometime.

  • GREAT IDEAS LEGEND i LOVE MY SKS'S

  • *note to self* Legend's stash is more than 1 tube ck all the way down j/k #LOL How much are those tubes? Good tips! BTW: Your dog said he will take me 2 all your stashes for epic treats js lol

  • @aaadream The tubes were 35 bucks. That traitor!

  • @LegendSexy Cool Thanks!

  • Great video!! Love the idea of layers.

  • @watuwaitn4 Everybody loves layers.

  • could you rap it in a garbeg bag for extre water proofing

  • @cowboyfromky Im sure you could.

  • Great video. I had heard that it's best to bury a tube like this vertical, so that it disturbs less land(harder for enemy to find) and bury it under a fence row(ground penetrating radar less likely to move over).

  • @Machi74005 Thats a good point. Ive never tried it that way. That would be a lot more extra digging deep.

  • @LegendSexy You could limit the digging by doing using a post hole digger. I noticed a few others have also suggested the vertical technique, although I like your idea of doing multiple layers with the most valuable stash deepest down.

  • @Machi74005 I guess its just boils down to how much work and time you have to do the job.

  • Very cool! I've seen PVC tubing used for home made tubes.

  • @ristin59 Ya those work great!
