Chevy Silverado 6.0 2500 HD with Gibson Exhaust

Hey I'm interested in knowing what muffler that is, I have the same unit and im looking for a good exhaust, so far I found that flowmaster and megnaflow are built weak and crackling sounds. So yours looks and sounds nice.

i have a 90 silverado 350 built for light towing with true dual pipes into flowmaster super 44s and two 4 inch tips before the passenger rear wheel sounds like a mean mofo. cops love it here

@cougarman50 Do you want loud, tone or loud and tone? If you chop the mufflers off then you will have crappy loud and thats it. If you toss a couple shorty headers on and do duals all the way out with flowmaster super 40 then you should get a decent tone.

what would b 2 much miles 2 buy one i saw a guy near me sellin a 02 2500hd 6.0 4x4 cc sb and 172,000 miles and he wanted $7200 do u think thats 2 many miles or would the 6.0 have many miles left out of. i would fix it up either way the reason i havnt bought it yet is cause its not a DURAMAX if it was i would buy it as soon as i saw it

@555222444999 yeah i have a silverado and its well over 200 thousand miles but not all are the same i found an 03 2500HD with 60,000 for ten so yea thats to much i would not offer more than 5900

nice truck that xhaust sounds alot better than i thought it would and how do the 6.0 in the 2500hd chevy hold up r they durable and strong enough to actually pull a decent size trailer loaded up a hill

@555222444999 i dont know about the 2500hd, but i have an 03 1500hd with a 6.0...basically the same thing. i can pull my 30 ft gooseneck loaded down with my 60 horse kubota(with loader, disc, spreader, bushog, and about 800 pounds of seed and fertilize)..which is pretty heavy. lol. it usually stays around 2500-3500 rpms getting about 10 mpg. it pulls it fairly easy to me.

I have an 01 2500hd with a 6.0 in it. I haul 4 draft hourse in it that weigh almost a ton a piece and it get the job done very well.. good trucks

@555222444999 oh are they durable by brother has a 02 1500hd and its been to hell and back mudding and pulling trailers and racing, the only thing weve done is changed one o2 sensor

I just added an aFe Pro Dry S and Gibson Dual Extreme exhaust to my 2009 GMC 2500HD 4x4 Z71 Crew Cab with a 6" lift and 37s, and it sounds great! It has that nice throaty rumble at idle, and with any acceleration, it roars. I have noticed greatly increased power and torque, but no increase on mpg. I was looking for power and sound though.

hell ya its a good truck

it does take more gas thn some trucks but not crazy mine gets mid to high teens and i hammer on the bitch it has never let me down plus its fun to blow past fords not even my friends f350 king ranch can keep up

my 2500hd 4x4 with the 6.0 get about 12mpg city and 14hwy. not to bad for a 3/4 ton truck with an ass load of power
