  • thank you! I have been trying to find instruction everywhere on the Internet. This is very helpful.

  • it will be impossible for me to ever learn this. I am 19 haven't been to Burma in 15 and a half years, didn't go to school there.

I have superb English skills but now cannot speak a word of Burmese except a few words we borrow in my CHIN language, like kyaw ngya and stuff. =/

I would like to learn once I travel back, but it'll be hard.

  • hey how did you write(type) in burmese in the end...

  • Maybe you could say the sounds of the consonants instead of the music. That would be very helpful.

  • thanks for this video it's very informative

  • I'm enjoying your lesson, thanks.

  • that's not Burmese language.

    that's Bamar or Burman language.

i think, every ethnic group in Myanmar have their own languages.

but, Bamar's well-known 'cause Burmans have full powers. also bad powers.

    they are also murderers.

  • @howkaren @howkaren, hi fri, there's no such a language called Burman language in Myanmar(my country). Burmese(Myanmar) is the only official language in the country & mostly everyone can speak it & write it.

Yes, correct, every ethnic group has there own languages but those are not used as official & not everyone can read it. The only way to communicate between different races is Burmese(Myanmar) language.

Since more than thousands of years ago, this language is well-knowned.

  • Thanks for the video. The Burmese script is very beautiful, I love the round shapes. I'll try to learn it later this week. o(^▽^)o

  • thx.... im burmese but i forgot how to write and read burmese.

  • if i learn today i sure i will forget next day .

  • Hi thanks for the first comment :P I think you can learn it it is just memorization. But just wait for part two the vowels. again thanks for watching! :)

  • why do you have khmer in your profile name?? are you Khmer or burmese or both?
