  • 0:22 that is a WWI light tank renault ft17

  • 3:47! its a panther! got to be worth a few quid.

  • the 18 ''honey'' tanks at 0:25 were sold by a brazilian farmer to some english guy, one has been fully restored and the others have or will be sold and restored so it ain't all bad.

  • It does not matter how much it costs, the countries from which this equipment is from should remove them. It is interesting material but these areas should be restored to pre-war condition. Perhaps then these countries would think twice about making war.

  • so much wasted steel

  • It would make sense that the majority would be US tanks. All of our battles fields were Expeditionary. The cost of returning them was prohibitive.

  • Very good photography .... thanks

  • this stuff should be fixed and put in museums.

  • bring our steel back home!!!!!

  • German tanks are the most sought after relics ...... I hope someone saves the Panther tank in frame 3:44 and the Mark 4 in frame 3:54 ...... If I had the money , I'd save these rare pieces of history and restore them to working conditions for tank shows. I LOVE TANKS !

  • i'm happy i am present at the time this has 117 likes , and 0 dislikes :)

  • the one that said 'wtf' on the back of it is the best one..

  • costs WAY too much to get these things, or even dismantle them- many are left in remote places( pacific islands, unoccupied european forests, north african deserts or the vast russian grasslands)- consider this- in Belgium and France, alot of WWI battle fields are now farms, and the farmers dig up skeletons and LIVE nearly 100 yr old ordinance all the time!

  • Check out mt Peleliu video on my channel. i even found live rounds inside a Sherman tank and took pictures

  • To the Pacific Islanders tank remains mean nothing. They might as well be trees.. I found at least 12 tanks and LVTs on Peleliu alone...and there is more on neighboring Anguar but its really hard to get there

  • To the Pacific Is

  • @epicduck ..I think thats on the Golan Heights

  • The one at 3:54 is the best!!!!!

  • @epicduck123 Do u mean the tiger?

  • Comment removed

  • these are some beautiful relics..i hope no hobo scraps them

  • @epicduck123 Panther on 3:48 is recovered, many wrecks are from pacific theater and remain on islands, they were left there just to rust away even if they only had engine problem.

  • @urmo345 They need to recover all of them! I might go get one and reconstruct it

  • Awesome....one of the best vids yet.....

  • you would think they would have scrapped them by now.

  • old machines of death ,

  • Believe it or not guys, but WWII was not that long ago... the world back then was very similar to the world today.

  • @monkeyattic but better in that there were no ipods around the totally focus a persons mind on nothing

  • @monkeyattic Well unless you are an immortal, or someone with great longevity, 67 years ago is a long time. And by your measure, the world is very similar today to what it was 67,000 years ago a well. For volcanoes land masses and planets, well that might not really seem like that long ago either.

  • Where is located The Panther ausf. A a 3.45??

  • @JPDUH thoughts exactly?

  • @JPDUH

I think this Panther was located in a scrapyard near the Falaise pocket France.

  • Mark IV at 3:55! Where is that one?

  • That's a Panther at 3:48!

  • very sad

  • the Sherman at .14 is on Peleliu... it was sent up to blast caves and protect 2 dumbass airmen who were souvenier hunting..during the fighting! when it hit a mine. 4 KIAs.. May they rest in peace.

  • didnt notice a pic of the shot up Sherman that is still on Monte Cassino. theres also a Sherman on Peleliu..not the one thats tipped over..that has live rounds inside the turret. i posted pix of it on my page

  • check out my channel...I spent 4 days on Peleliu and have shots of tanks that aren't shown here.

  • Great video... Too bad that if you want to recover a U.S. Tank you have to pay off the locals and the US since its still considered US property

  • nice tank!!!

  • so many shermans

  • Anyone please tell me WHAT MUSIC IS THIS?

  • ja und gut erhalten wo ist das?

  • @ziiiiimtstern ja is einer

  • 3:45 panther?

  • @ziiiiiimtstern Yes.

  • love the vid but i hate to spoil 0:11. the arty piece has been since scraped as it. Nothing remains of that particular relic.

what in the hell is 0:46? some kind of mobile field kitchen?

  • beautiflu music, stunnning pics. well done man :)

  • 3:55 - AWESOME wallpaper ..

  • ima buy one of dem when im off the guy who owns the property its probably gonna the most easy one to restore

  • @TheTrevor627 do you mean the jap tanks or the panther? as far is a know, the panther and the rest of the scrapyard were sold to a conglomeration of french military museums in the early 90ies. The jap tanks are still there as off recently but the owners are asking far too much for them.

  • Thanks but a pity no information about locations. Some presumably are part of the carefully cherished heritage of PNG.

They are historic artefacts and should be preserved for the future, especially the rarer tanks. They're a bit heavy to just move away easily unfortunately.

  • @kgs42 Visit 'Surviving Panzers' website, if you're intereseted about location of these wrecks.

  • @OberfeldS Thanks .... will look there .....

  • @kgs42 you'd be surprised as to how much money people are willing to spend to recover such things. that Syrian Panzer IV (3:54) is still there, cannon deactivated but mostly complete.

  • @mcdonaldluke6 If I were Mark Zuckerberg I'd save them all!

They really should be properly preserved ... though it amazing how tanks pulled out of swamps in Russia and elsewhere look, at least, in good condition.

  • some of those look in fairly "ok" condition, good restoring projects actually...

  • Theres a guy in England and one here in the US that restore these beasts. Would be great to get a couple of these going again before they are gone.

  • How can something old and rusty be so beautiful . Once deadly now silent think of the scared 20 year old kids that died in them .

  • @icemelongreen, they are steel graves deserving of better than rusting away. But, recovering & restoring them is a costly labor of love. Not everyone is capable or good at doing that.

  • beautiful vid

  • neuvěřitelné dech beroucí.....

  • Awesome

  • Nice pics!

Whats the tank at 3:20 ?

  • Hy cant they take the tanks and send them to their homes. Sorry bad english

  • Spectacular!

  • Its a shame that these cant be restored or used as parts for other restoration

  • 2:37 what the heck is that?

  • @SekavaaShittii two turrets mounted vetrically on a M1A1 sherman base.

  • @urundeadmom445 Oh thanks for your reply, shame that cant find any other pictures of two-turret shermans

  • @urundeadmom445 They aren't mounted, look closer they just dumped on top of that,

  • @SekavaaShittii LOL thats what i was thinking too XDXDXD i was like M4A3E8, M4, M3 Stuart, M4A3WTF???

  • @SekavaaShittii Looks like an M4A3 with two Cromwell MKII turrets. Probably dumped on top because the second turret is right on top of where the Sherman has its engine so common sense I guess once you thing about the configuration
