  • I'm sitting here with the original drummer.

  • Stevie Wonder did it originally on the "Uptight" album, 1966. Note the publishing company on the label (Jobete).

  • another person has posted this song on you tube claiming the band is from austin texas. i commented and corrected them but they removed my comment and still have the erroneous info on their page. any one else want to try and set them straight?the person is modzeb1967.

  • Nice copy! I sure do wish I could find that picture sleeve! MY FAVORITE 45 OF ALL TIME!

  • I've never heard of this band--where were they from? It's a nice song from that era--thanks for sending!

  • They're from Akron, Ohio. This song was a monster hit in parts of the country but didn't make Billboard. They got rave reviews in Cashbox/RecordWorld. 3 singles: Love-A-Go-Go/Soul Kitchen; re-released on Chess b/w Hey Girl (it's totally jammin); the third single is Beautiful Day (very psych. pop) b/w Satisfied. You can get Love A Go Go & Soul Kitchen on I-Tunes now ,as they've added the garage CD compilation (boot) Storm in the Garage. Too bad the band doesn't get paid for this!

  • @mickindanny how do u know so much about the group

  • My girlfriends and I loved this record above all others when it was released in 1967, and this band has been my lifelong obsession.
