  • OH - I forgot to tell you I also made this recipe too. (except I used salmon) A it was so good we ended up making them twice this week. Next time I might use imitation crab meat.

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but I absolutely love your cooking videos :o)

  • Great! I bet it was good with the salmon...I think I'll try that for a meal this week...It's inexpensive..Thank you girl!!

  • Allison... I will try this recipe out first chance I can eat this type food again. My surgery date is in 13 days (oct. 29th), so I'm liquid dieting right now. I LOVE your videos, from the first post to today. You have been a great inspiration to me. You've come a long way Allison. I'll let you know how the recipe works for me soon.

  • Thank you :) I appreciate your kind words for sure! I hope all goes well with your surgery...

  • Sounds great Allison, tfs

  • Thank you :) How are you all doing this week? I've missed yall lol

  • Allison--- thank you very much for the "no fishy taste" idea. I'll give it a try. You're doing great by the way. Keep up the good work!!

  • Let me know what you think ok? Thanks!

  • I like Tuna sandwiches... but when you cook tuna, does it make the tuna taste "fishy"??? -Linda

  • Actually this takes out some of that fishy taste....I think it might be the mayo? Also, if you use the flax seed meal or wheat germ instead of bread crumbs it would be even less fishy too.

  • You could add chopped peppers or chillies or even just some tomato, they look great, will be trying this weekend! :-)

  • Oh that does sound good....I think it would be good to add some onion too.

  • OH yeah... lol and I made a new video - probably will make you chuckle lol!

  • oo i bet green chilies would be good in this!

alright...heading to the store tomorrow to pick up some packs of tuna.

  • Allison - I have an idea...

so, I was watching theonepotchefshow the other day, and he was showing how to make meatballs - and I have made meatballs before - with the exact same ingredients he used...but one step he did made me think, it'd probably work for this too. He put the meat (in this case tuna cakes formed) in fridge for 15 min. He says it helps firm, so I guess less of a chance of falling apart... maybe you don't have that problem - but it's just a thought. Thanks-I'm gonna try this!!

  • Hey that would work...They stuck to the pan a little only because I didn't spray it enough lol....Great tip!

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay

  • YES!!! This looks so good!!! I will try it this weekend... I will share with you Monday or Tuesday an Imitation Crab Cake that I make with regular Corn Flakes instead of the Bread Crumbs ..... Thanks for sharing!!!!

  • Let me know what you think ! I love your cooking videos too...I will look for the crab cake one :) Thank you!

  • These look so yummy! Thanx!

  • Thanks for watching!

  • oo good idea on using the packet tuna. i'm gonna have to give that a shot.

  • Yea I think the tuna packets would work well...I love the Whole Foods 365 tuna because it's more chunky.

  • haha i bet i could make this with my wheat germ. i think i might try and make that my mission. see how many things i can sneak that into. lol

this looks so food. i need to make these soon. i meant to make them when abbeymore1 made hers but i totally forgot.

oo i think i'm going ot put pepper flakes in mine. this would be nice for a sunday lunch over some romaine.

  • yeah, that's gonna be my mission too lol! haha but you saw how excited I was about the wheat germ last night lol!!!!!!! OMGOSH Allison - you should try it too - when you make chicken breast for Joe... season it first, and then dip it in wheat germ, and put a tiny tab of butter on top when baking - it's flippin amazing... I love it! hahah Rocky sold me on Wheat Germ!

  • Oh man...I bet he would like that...I'm going to buy some this week and give it a try.

  • oh man it's good... you can also do it with fish! Try tilapia! mmmmm

  • got another hooked. lol

no, but stuff is so good. i can see me going through this second jar real quick.

  • You could use the wheat germ! I saw the brand you use and I think I'll give it a shot this week...It has quite a bit of extra protein too. Pepper flakes would be great in this one!

  • This looks great. I may make with less tuna perhaps a large can and one egg.

    I will try it tomorrow.

    Linda

  • Yea you can scale down the recipe or make a huge batch if you wanted. Thanks Linda.
