I remember when it came out and I was so stoked to play it but damn, it was too expensive! There's no way in hell I would pay for it but luckily, my friend has that game and I borrowed it. When I played it and it left me so disappointed! I feel that there is something missing in it and I wish I could put my finger on it. I tried, tried liking it but I couldn't. So, I stick with TS2 and I still enjoy it. I wish I could like it but oh well! *shrugs*

people who hate sims 3 are basically judging a book by its cover the sims 2 has every single game out where sims 3 only has a few for instance in sims 3 generations you can graduate like sims 2 university you get wedding cakes like in sims 2 celebration stuff you can go downtown basically like in sims 2 nightlife there are so many advances coming up in sims 3 that you need to wait untill they've finished all the sims 3 and then you can judge sims 2 and 3 by each other dont do it yet just wait=)

@jesbrossard Ok I'll help.The Sims 3 is the base game, you need this no matter what. Then, you can start buying expansion packs to expand your game. So far there are 4 packs. World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, and Generations. Stuff packs are packs that add items to your game. The stuff packs are High-End loft stuff, Fast Lane stuff, and Outdoor Living stuff. If you are gonna get Sims 3, get Sims 3 deluxe because it includes Ambitions in it for the same price. I think Sims 2 is better tho

Haha, it's great when you can start to understand the sims even though the speak a made up language! :P Yeah they came out in 2000, I was 7 (or technically 6 at the time) and went to the midnight release of it and was hooked ever since!

I think it would be cool to have a sims 3 expansion pack that can take care of farms and along with that rain and snow so that it has a better time to gather and make money and also buy a villa or a own farm to spend their free time. It would be nice too in this expansion pack to have the curse of the brown bear that when you're in a country house and try to kill you have saved it objects to the beast. I think this expansion pack may have to lift an object by hand.

i had a glitch in my sims 2 game where my mom sim and the dad sim were sleeping in a bed together,while the kids were going to school,and the parents were stuck in the bed! they couldn't get up, or move,or do anything but lay there! it was a glitch,and i eventually had to move them into another house after i already spent,like,2 hours putting furniture into the mansion!!!!!

How about making the faces and bodies more realistic than as if everyone's face was bloated or as if they were just stung by bees? Sims 3 is great but Sims 2 made MUCH BETTER characters!! Big time thumbs down for physical characteristics on Sims 3!! So disappointed.

@HeidiChambers70 I found that the faces and bodies have to do with your graphics card.I played the game on my son's computer which is a Vista and all the characters were real fat just like the real people today in real life hee hee.On my computer that I can use nvidia I can make my characters as skinny as I want or fat as I want
