  • @beastboy19891988 like i just said on another video. you could change the pulley with no other mods but it puts a fuck ton of stress on the motor that you shouldnt put on it. in my opinion the only way you would safetly be able to put a smaller pulley on this car would be to just do stage 2 first and make sure that you get the ecu's reprogrammed and shit when you put the pulley on

    Yes but when you get to a certain point it becomes very inefficient to use any smaller of a pulley (2.55" for the M90, not sure about the M62)

  • Basically yes. The smaller the pulley is, the more boost you can pull out of the supercharger.

  • With intake and exhaust on my SS, and with fairly hard driving, I still get around 300 miles on one tank. And they are only 12-gallon tanks. So, in other words, they are pretty decent on gas.

  • LS1 and 5.7 are teh same thing buddy. Actually, the LS1 has two different displacements. One is a 5.7, the other is a 6.0

  • Nice flamethrower you got there. 2.5" is the lowest you can go. It's not efficient in any way though. Boost isn't everything! That low of a pulley is highly unreliable especially in the winter! Bet it moves like a mofo though.

  • Have you ever tried driving a cobalt SS with the supercharger? They pull better than the TC version buddy. And they weren't built as cheap as the new SS's. Not to mention the Cobalt SS in general handles like a beast!

  • Listen dummies if u go past 76mm which is 2.8 i believe, ull need a 2-pass intercooler end plate and an ice-box intercooler and exhaust ported head to control temperature. and if u want nitrous u need the stage 3 algorthym and performance valve springs 50 shot dry only on stock engine. 2.6 pulley will give u 5 to 6lbs boost increase raminass

  • kayron...u r excaclty correct. anything below 2.8 u are loosing effiency not including ur inlet temps are soaring around 240 degrees. u have to have extreme cooling mods. i just got my cx heat exhanger and im on stock setup defintly reccommened it. 3rd gear pulls harder less heat soak.
