Yes but when you get to a certain point it becomes very inefficient to use any smaller of a pulley (2.55" for the M90, not sure about the M62)

Listen dummies if u go past 76mm which is 2.8 i believe, ull need a 2-pass intercooler end plate and an ice-box intercooler and exhaust ported head to control temperature. and if u want nitrous u need the stage 3 algorthym and performance valve springs 50 shot dry only on stock engine. 2.6 pulley will give u 5 to 6lbs boost increase raminass

and it will never mess up the internals.. only if you go over.. 340-350WHP that's when internal starts to go bad
