The Raiders had a chance for McKenzie to hire Grudan. Grudan wanted to come to Oakland, but I guess Marc Davis and McKenzie want their show, not the Grudan show. Grudan takes the team to the Superbowl, and get's fires that off season!! He must have been extremely passionate and spoke his mind, the Raiders need him!

Gruden may very well get his chance to coach the Colts since they jusy had a 2-14 season, they hired a new GM and they are drafting Andrew Luck. He can groom him into a Elite Qb after Peyton retires

He's going to the Colts in place of Caldwell. He loves Peyton Manning and he's always wanted to coach him. It's a great fit since they've had quiet coaches in Manning Era, Gruden will be a great fit to get there team some championships.

@coltbound18 I wish Gruden came to the Colts, but it isn't gonna happen at least for another season. Caldwell has a really good record since he's been coach, with a trip to the Superbowl. Much is attributed to Manning and his workings, but the numbers don't lie. If the colts fall short in the playoffs this year, and the fan base gets cracking, maybe we can get a new coach here, hopefuly Gruden.

I never liked Gruden as a coach. I wonder about his skills to be able to put fire under the guys and be a motivator. He sounds to intimidating and too negative and almost mocking of the guys that have a lot to learn yet.

He'll be the next Browns head coach. Northern Ohio is his home. He grew up in Sandusky a Browns fan. And he has had a good relationship with Browns President Mike Holmgren who he used to work for.
