yeah, the offline multiplayer was my biggest criticism of the game. the PS3 is meant to support up to 7 player split screen, but there isn't a game yet thats utilised it. and they offer offline co-op, but only two players allowed, when you practically require 3.

You should have took the rossmore when u pressing the switch. Its more effective against spinners. Besides u could get cabine when u fight the mother spinner. Anwayz nice game play and i took 20 mins before looking up and saw the mother spinner : )

I'm confused. There's a trophy for killing 30 spinners, and I killed 6 (according to my stats) in my first playthru. Now where exactly are the spinners? 6 isn't many but I know I didn't beat this boss 6 times (if it even counts), so they have to be SOMEWHERE. Anyone know?

I believe the spinners are the little things running around the cocoons, I think you first see them in the Orick level, they're the little crab like things

ive been playing this game and it's awesome. it's just a little annoying that you can't customize the controls. for some reason they made crouch and run both L2, so sometimes when you need to run away from something, you crouch down and get killed. imo they should have O be crouch, L3 run and L2 grenade. anybody else have a slight issue with the controls??

Um. You can customize the controls to whatever you want. Its in the options menu for controls. "Custom Layout"

Spinners don't exist on the first one. I payed extreme attention to the story of the first game, and read every Intel document. There are crawlers, which evolve into leapers if they fail to infect, and in turn rollers are adult leapers. So I was a little disappointed that the story had minor improvements from the first one. :[
