Her parents were also going through a difficult divorce and she talked about suicide before being bullied. Highschool can be rough, people can be mean but what's the alternative? Jailing every angst filled teen that exhibits negative behavior? GOOD LUCK! She was already on the brink, don't throw kids in jail for being the needle that broke the camels back.

Ya know people don't know the full story of this propaganda... Apparently she had sex with consent to two of the guys Austin and Sean. The reason the other girls bullied her was because she had sex with their boyfriends and although they did bully her, SHE killed herself... That was HER choice. She could've talked to someone about it and someone may have helped her. The kids didn't know that she had been depressed earlier in her life. Now there whole lives are ruined and they will go to prison

If I see South Hadley High School on a kids' resume, no w2ay do I hire him or her. Area employers could take away the part-time jobs, etc. until real change is enacted.

Man after hearing this happening, I wish I was at South Hadley High School to see this girl before she died, and I would have defended her against the bullies, fighting's dangerous and can get you suspended from school, but hey when the administration isn't doing anything, sometimes it needs to be done. Suicide is the last resort any human has to end pain within themselves. It is a shame to read the comments made in such a selfish, judgemental way towards Phoebe and the loss of her life. Bullies are children with neglected pasts, and guardians or parents who did not do a good job in parenting, and end up being adults who bully others continously who do not know how to respond to a bully's ignorant ways, and comments. Why?
Because it is simply human nature for some, like the pieces of shit that did this poor thing to Phoebe, to pick on those who, in some manner, are different, etc.
