  • Never had a chance to see Snooky perform so this is a treat. His '86 or so release on Anone's label features backing from Junior Watson, Denny Freeman and others.

  • The last time I saw James Wheeler I went out to breakfast with him and Otis Rush a few blocks from Otis's condo. What a great player and nice guy as well!

  • This is magnificent. For me the greatest blues harp player was the astonishing Sonny Boy Williamson. Check out everything by him. The blues feel is out of this world.
