I remember when all the troops had their own look to them, now they all look the same . Some had camo some didn't, some wore hats and not helmets, each class had diffrent gear worn a diffrent way. He sounds nothing like a russian dude. It might sound like that to you because you dont know what other languages sound like. German and Russian are nothing alike. Im neither of them and i can tell a difference a million miles away.

I actually speak basic German, and yes, they do have similarities. My teacher speaks Russian and German.

Guys, we need to remember that the guy calling in for artillery support (a fire mission is an artillery strike) is a radioman whose probably under heavy fire, and plus the wind is in the background. Nevertheless, it's not real. It's made by Valve and just edited to sound WWII-ish...but hey, it still sounds [kind of] realistic, but I'm pretty sure radios were a lot different back then.

dont weed out the possibility of it being an actual recording. today anything is possible. and there has been crazier things done than restoring an old radio-in that may have been recorded. but then again it could also be fake. either way this theme is amazing. lets not worry about it lol

i'm pretty much disappointed with valve. They are making this game die like those old versions of day of defeat. They never fully work out this game that well. Thumbs down to valve! And the possibility of it being update is very thin due to the release of Left 4 dead

We need them to work out all the damn bullshit, they have an EXCELLENT original, but the only reason I got DoD:S was for the GMod content, after playing it for a while, I just questioned why Valve couldn't have had the game HALF as good as the original. Also, bring back the british, it was nice variety.
