  • war is hell what more can you say? it messes you up, on the outside and inside.

  • TO THE DUMB ASS BELOW ME (niknokvdo) IF YOUR GOING TO RUN YOUR MOUTH, ATLEAST KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. YOUR A DUMB ASS PUSSY! YOU'D PROBABLY RUN AWAY LIKE A LITTLE BITCH IF YOU EVER HAD ONE OF THOSE TERRORISTS FIRE A BULLET AT YOU.

  • GOOD! YOU DESERVE IT YOU DUMB FUCKER! WHO HELD A GUN TO YOUR HEAD TO GO FIGHT FRAUD WARS!

HELL YEA YOU END UP BEING THE ONE WHO GOT FUCKED UP DIDN'T YA MATE! YOU MADE YOUR BED NOW JUST LAY IN IT LOL

  • It takes courage to serve. It takes brass balls to share combat experiences in the open like you. Much respect, brother. Not everyone experiences the heavy symptoms straight away. It can take up to 2 years before the trauma finally takes its toll. All I can say is be pro active in asking for assistance. Worst case scenario; you end up like my old buddy fmr SSGT A. Johnson who served in Iraq. R.I.P. 'Willy' My heart goes out to all of you that have served and are still serving. fmr 3/75RGR

  • thanks for sharing, most people keep this stuff deep with in them. i came back and went on a 6 month drinking binge, luckily ppl stepped in and helped me

  • hmm. this sucks. I am a Marine, recently returned from Afghanistan. We saw heavy close combat in Musa Quela, Marjah, and Sangin. Personally ive never had these problems, I think it's all about how prepared one is to go into combat. I feel bad for people like this...Shoulda been hazed more.

  • @kevinsrooster8 I have been there too. Your experience is different than his. You are either in denial about your problems, still emotionally numb, or just plain too ignorant to see something from anothers perspective.

  • @kevinsrooster8 ...just read my previous comment and that should answer you question, brother. You state that you have RECENTLY returned from AFG, but the time for symptoms to fully develop differs from person to person. You may THINK you're fine, but once you really start to think things through, you will be on the receiving end and I can tell you from experience; it blows in any way, shape or form. If you think hazing is the answer, you are sadly mistaken, my leatherneck friend.

  • @pathfinderonline I hope your wrong about the symtoms developing later! I have an open mind, but for now im going to treat it that im a rare exception! take care brother!

  • 20 minutes counciling?!?!?!?!??

  • they guys deserve respect and help from people back at home

  • Stop going to war against imaginary enemies in other people's countries...simple...oh, what now, you peace and freedom loving mother's gonna threaten me with violence now...well now there's a surprise!!!...go save your own country (New Orleans, Detroit) instead of picking fights with oil/resource rich countries and propping up the war machine...you are a duped people...your politicians are evil dullards..george bush hahaha he dun fooled ya...ffs get a grip and get a real job...try saving a life

  • @matt69vdb fuck you asshole i'm fully aware my subordinates may see this post but, fuck you motherfucking coward if it weren't for this fake believe internet bullshit you'd already be on the worst half of a guiness ass kicking from the guy_..

  • @matt69vdb hey if they were imaginary then there would be no IED's or rifle fire coming at us.

  • There's Vietnam vets at the VA with PTSD u get better with treatment but most Iraq vets arnt getting the treatment they need!

  • :-) He looks like @JustA11en, where is he anyway ?

  • Instant reaction yes, that veterans problem concerning PTSD. It cools down within some years I guess.

  • @cherrypie5195 ive had ptsd for 23 years now and im still on meds , i have good days and bad days but more bad than good...i wish it cooled down over time... i have heard though that if you catch it in time that you have a chance of at least making it bearable...

  • DAmn.. it makes me wonder how the special forces guys do it?... their mentality must have been soooo fucking strong..

  • Man, Thank You for making this video!!! I am about to loose my battle with combat ptsd!!! I am about to break, I do not have much more to give, i am to the point of no return...the VA has denied my claim and I am tired of dealing with this!!! My five years of free medical care are expired and now they want to bill me for my counseling visits....I am so tired......

  • @mountainman28713 it took me 5 years of fighting the system for my ptsd and traumatic brain injury... i always had the va shrinks saying im messed up and deserve benefits... i kept fighting and fighting... they gave me 10%, 30%then 50% and once i finally got to 80% the shrink used the magic words... i do grosly inappropriate things... now i am at 80% but get benefits for 100% permanent and total... the bad thing is that i am deemed unemployable and it is illegal for me to work...

  • Thanks for this video man. I'm only starting to come out of myself now- 06 Taji 1STB 4th ID. Violent potential urges, paranoia, completely dazing off and fear of a bad confrontation whenever I go out in public- that is what we trained for. That is how we had to respond to ieds and fire fights and that is always in the back of our minds as civilians........ charred flesh torn apart and general violence. Cheers!

  • Thank you. Take care and keep moving forward. May time heal your wounds.

  • This video is great. Thanks for posting it. I am an ex Vet and I appreciate it. I am here chatting. However, not all of me is here. Only 75% The rest is still over where I was. I am now violent, (I was always, but more so now) precautionary, drinking alot, paranoid, and wishing I had died instead of my brethern.

  • it's PTSD

  • I agree these guys dont get the respect they deserve. Chris thank you for serving our country, I cant speak for others but probably for many, we do appreciate your service to our country or at least I do. THANK YOU!

  • these guys dont get the respect they deserve :(

  • Thanks for sharing brother.

  • I went throught the same experience. I was active duty for 9 years and spent 5 of that deloyed. When I got out, I had too many problems and almost ended it. The VA gave me the same rating and compensation so I'm focusing hard on putting my life back together. I have heard that it's good advice to tell someone to stay positive...but easier said than done....

  • To BoyishlyCuteBritYank: I didn't mean to imply that the war was fake, because I had a tour in Iraq in 2004. I was in a signal unit so we had platoons, or "node centers" all over. Some of my buds were in Najaf when al Sadr had both of his Mahdi Army revolts in 2004. Anyway, what I meant to say is that the Libs are saying the war is fake, anf we invaded Iraq for cheap oil. And if that was true, then why isn't gasoline 75 cents a gallon? I read your profile, so I am assuming you served too.

  • gotcha, thanx for the clarification. yes, I am a vet, Alpha 1/1, USMC. Semper Fi,

  • Semper Fi bro

  • sleep is a pleasure for most, but hell for others

  • i know its all bull shit how the goverment treats us after we go out there to defend there ass while they hide behind there fucking desk im an iraqi vet myself i suffer from ptsd and its like they send us there they know whats gonna happen when we come back they want to treat us vets like shit it eats me up every fucking day i wish i could send them assholes over there and let them experience the pain that we vets suffer every night

  • Man...wow...

  • Good luck man thanks for serving.

  • Chris stay with it and good luck. I hope you are seeking help from fellow veterans groups. The guys and gals who know are the only ones who can help.

  • This is crazy. I was in Iraq with this guy. I was cool with him. He came to my fob after half way threw the tour. He was in my army national guard unit. Matter of fact I have to go back over again with the same unit this next month. I suffered a little from this. I thought I was done with the anxiety. But now that I know Im going back it has gotten way worse for me. My anxiety level has been heavy. Chris was a decent guy trying to deal with his problems. I wish you the best chris. stay up

  • Only leaders who never served could extend combat tours and order repeated combat tours while they engage in "preemptive" war. Bush, Cheney, Rice, etc. seem to think war is a board game. GI's are people too, not machines. It takes a long time to learn to relax again...

  • 3-4 days without sleep, yes, with little catnaps in between,

  • They're throwing veterans in jail? Wow, I mean, why? I don't support preemptive war such as the one in Iraq but man, take care of these guys.

  • 3-4 days without sleep?

LMFAO.... where were you at? Vietnam?

  • ya i agree 3-4 days without sleep in Iraq? ya ok I spent 15 months there most I ever went w/o sleep was like 1 - 1 1/2 days

  • Most have been nice to be a fobbit.

3-4 days without sleep wasn't the norm, But I did it more than once.

  • Fu*king retard!

  • keep playing xbox so you never have to get a job and see the real world kid

  • It's always been the way of governments to abandon their soldiers when they are no longer needed. here in New Zealand there have been generations of men in my family totally let down after giving their all for their country and their family. one thing my grandad told me when i was going to join the Aussie navy, was that once you are in, they own you. you are just a piece of property. i decided to choose another career path. if you are affected its good to get help and if possible stay off pills

  • When you're opperating on your toes constantly with nerves always straining at the alert day in day out for a whole year something bad's gonna happen.

  • I got arrested by the cops 20 days after I got out of the marines. Ever since then, cops became the enemy

  • 100%pandt. life sucks. cops also hate me and know my illness and dont give a shit. i go to anger management classes . my neighbors are afraid of me.i also have facial tics and will probably have done killed myself within 8 months. almost killed a man who thought it was funny to point a gun at me. palm to the nose. hesitation saved his life and gave him one fucked up nose. take 7 meds a day which makes me barely legal to drive. wet the bed nightly and get stuck on stupid daily

  • soldiers are fodder for bush, cheney, rothschilds, and rockefellers to name a few.

send them over to fight a faux war for oil.

they come home f'ckd up; so we medicate them into zombies or jail them. What a plan. Use them, then pass them on to normal society. if you can't find them sedated, they will be on the police force or in blackwater.. what a plan

  • aint that ironic? the same thing happend to the vietnam vets, those government fuck heads have giving my beloved military a fuck up reputation.

  • hey klonedklein, with this fake war for oil all you libs keep talking about, why aren't we paying 75 cents a gallon? Oh yeah, its a conspiracy theory involving Bush and Big Oil! Dumbass!

  • You are part of the conspiracy, so who is the dumbass?

  • God save our nation from idiots like you.

  • Bcompt..those who're making the money are the oil service companies who're friends of the administration. Go ahead and support Iraq having billions in oil money and not having to pay one dime to America while we spend a trillion..and lose lives..brilliant!

  • fake war??? I wish those were fake bullets, fake bombs/IEDs, fake bodies, fake blood, fake brains, fake disembowlments, I just fuckin wish they were all fake
