@Kaoss87 You have to have a fundamental understanding of the Constitution and the President's powers and Congress powers under that document. As well as laws that stem from that including the war powers resolution. Being a lawyer or at least having gone to law school helps with understanding how all of this works, what has been done historically and what is legal. But obviously being a lawyer is not a requirement to be a President. Any natural born citizen who is 35 years old can run for office.

Ron Paul doesn't know history, and is in denial. We had been in imminent danger of attack (and had been attacked) several times in our history, Pearl Harbor for one. Iran has also said they intend to attack us, and destroy us. Ron Paul confuses attack with defeat, anyone can attack us, but no one can defeat us in battle..big difference.

However such a thing is impossible as China lacks the logistical capacity to maintain a deployed force in the US, and the Russian military is utterly underfunded- nothing like the days of the Soviet Union.
