Awesome ! Red alert and Mike Slammer made some of the best hardcore tracks ever! They had they're own sound that stood out and sounded wicked! Using two Amigas apparently! I'ts not the tool it's the man behind it lol.
Everytime I listen to this or tunes of the same time I find myself finding more and more that I end up getting delayed doing anything else. The hunt for tape packs after the rave. Then trying to keep hold of all the tapes!!!! ahhh the good old days, would love to go back, old skool nights are NOT the same, I think you just had to be there
@katryn3 Absolutely! Just shame that it only lasted a short time before it evolved into music being made too quick with no thought and cheesy as hell. Oh well, perhaps in the future this music will become in trend and new stuff will be made, however, I like that the bass sometimes is distorted because it reminds me of thats how it kind of was at those times were. I never heard a sound system that could handle Prodigy-Wind it Up' bassline without sounding a bit dodgy haha
Surely one of the most epic piano breaks of any rave tune? Along with maybe Manix Feel Real Good. This reminds me of the best days of my life, cruising around in my old Fiesta circa 93 with stuff like this cranked to the max. It really doesn't get any better than this, music may come and go but eary nineties hardcore is in my soul. Nothing comes close. Peace and love people.
this = amazing.
