Cops dont get killed with the guy getting out of the car, remembering that he should have stated he had a weapon, and then imediately pulling out the weapon and firing it into the cops face to show him that he had a weapon.

Defense Attorney Tim Bellew made a motion to dismiss, or a "Criminal Rule 29" motion for acquittal. The judge eventually ruled in favor of this motion which has been explained to us as a conclusion that the state didn't meet it's burden of proof - the defense didn't even need to put on a trial and the jury didn't need to consider anything, the Judge threw the concealed carry charges out. As we've said all along, this shouldn't have gone to trial to begin with.

Hate to say it, but these guys that get their initial training in the war arena, have to be very strictly screened and properly retrained, or additionally trained for Civil Police service. The methods taught for military police service have little to do with standard civil police training. It is not applicable and can be, as seen her counterproductive. This guy needs to be pulled from civil service and put into therapy, or sent back to the arena he can function in, which is the military.
