Wow! This song and she is amazing! I am trying to learn this song and I'm 12. And this song is supposed to be fast, that is how Frederic Chopin played this song. :))
It took me a pretty good amount of time to learn this song myself, and it wasn't nearly this good. To everyone who seems to think that she's playing it too fast, that is how fast this song is meant to be played. It's called the "Minute Waltz" because it's so short-- not because the length of the song is short, but you're supposed to play it fast so it's short.
What is it with Asians & classical music? It seems like if/when it is discovered that an Asian child has a particular musical talent, Asian parents seem more apt then Americans parents to cultivate it (sometimes aggressively). It just seems like there are more Asian musical "child prodigies" then there are American/Western. Asians are good @ Music & Math.
HEHEHEHE, I learned this in 3 hours and I play it this fast and I am only 4. HEHEHEHE. HEHEHEH.

It took me 3 whole weeks to learn it and properly play it without mistakes. Sadly, for those of you who think it's too fast - no it isn't. Imo too fast for a valse but it actually is within the indicated zone. Well played Asia.
@ImmortalSpecies The ones who think it is too fast are the people with no musical talent. The ones who think it is amazing are the ones who don't expect someone of that age to play this level of songs. The ones who congradulate and critique/correct are the ones who either fully understand the idea of a musician and can play the piece, or just have the former.
Not about speed, its about feeling. You cant enjoy a piece if its too fast to understand. Ex.: Nocturne Op.9 No.2 But anyway she's really a devoted piano player and for that Kudos to her and her familly.
@mylife1221 oh, thanks for the pointers...it just seemed really fast from all the other recordings i have listened to thats all...and i do play piano and violin but i just recently came across this sheet music and you are very right... :)

...This is the speed this song is supposed to be play at.
Playing it slower is for learning and building up confidence.
She's very good at it though.

@TheShanePM Basically, have you ever read a music piece, and it says 'Molto vivace' well, that actually means that fast is the speed that is wanted.
