  • A truly beautiful song and a truly beautiful band

  • Devotchka...sigh. How is everyone not in love with them?

  • What a great tune:)

  • if this band would let me marry them, i would.

  • Hot hot song. Love it. Why am I hearing it for the first time.

  • they're one of the most beautiful bands existing, not even just existing, of all time.

I mean, who makes music like this?

  • Beirut does. And not to mention Calexico (sort of). Those are the popular ones, I'm sure there are other bands with this sound. And I love this band very much, but I have a hard time believing they're realistically one of the most beautiful bands of all time.

  • Thats awesome just discovered this band and I live on Wheatridge...fuels my love for them even more

  • Uh, yeah... it's about ten miles from Denver. Always been there, always will be. It's a dirty place full of highway culture and motels. This song sounds way more romantic than that polluted, un-pretty stretch of blight. The people that live there are trying to lobby for something like the name "Commerce Hills" or something else retarded to reflect their newly developed space. Um, no, not until tornadoes or sane developers erase the trailer park feeling of that almost unending expanse of I-85.

  • Really cant believe how well you just described that, it really is just a blight on Denver....really the city would be all the better without it.

  • Very true

  • Haha Yeah - it's the arm-pit of the metro area. Smells like oil refineries and dog food! MMmmm.

  • I'm guessing they're referring to Commerce City here in CO? Does anybody know if that's true?

  • must be...they are from CO. :)

  • You have no clue, this is totally about betting the dog races in Commerce City.

  • I know the band personally, I have seen them perform many, many times and talked a lot with them. Nick used to drive an Airport Limo and during slack time between trips to/from DIA, he would hang out at the Commerce City Dog Track. The reference to losing his last $20 bill is about losing it on a dog race! I saw him at the track several times back then. Of course the dog races are no more in Colorado and Nick.....well let's just say he has NOT been to Commerce City in a while.

  • i love this.

  • can ANYONE give me the chords for this please? cant find it anywhere and havent been playing long enough to pick it up by ear

  • Why is this song not more popular?

  • Because mainstream media is afraid to try anything beyond the generic.

  • AMEN!

  • that and luck of the draw

  • @mtb416 not a lot of people enjoy true talent

  • I LOVE this song, but what's it about?

  • amazing....love it

  • hmmmmmmmmm this got looped hundred of times and still love it.

  • never heard anything from this band I didnt enjoy!

  • type in how it ends

  • love it!

  • good mix of sounds and instruments, and good voice. This song its really good!

  • I´m fascinated by the new way of indie music - just wonderful.

  • this song is quite amazing, quite amazing

  • He has a great voice. I love this combination of tango, rock, folk, and jazz!
