@TheSurviver72 many thanks...this kit has changed slightly so an update is due ha ha..also..this small kit plus my black micro blanket was a summer one night kit...so I have had a light kit before the one I posted last night.. I go heavy to stay strong and have lots of toys to play with..some people seem to think I can't cope outdoors without it all..far from it, before I had all this I had a lot less and did fine...I just love a range of gear to practice many things//all the best!
@MrSav720 lol i was speaking historicaly metaphoricaly and hypotheticaly i also dont consider myself prepared or a preper for that matter all i am saying is if you ask a father if it is moraly right to kill someone who treatens ther child he will say yes if you ask a soldier if him commiting murder in the name of his country is right he will say yes and if you went back in time and asked a nazi if the genocide of the jews was moraly right they will say yes so morals are no foundation for any law
@MrSav720 ah but you see there are those who beleive that there are acceptions to those common laws you quote my friend soldiers and fathers im sure would disagree with you and say that if their family country or whatever where treatened they would have no moral objection to killing maiming or commiting genocide so personaly i beleive morality to be aextremely shaky foundations to any law and infact technicaly all laws go against nature but you cant pick and choose which to follow
@MrSav720 well now thats a contradiction "there are laws that have to be respected" by your logic no there are none you cannot pick and choose what you wish to respect you must respect none or all
morality is not an issue here morals are subjective and vary from person to person therefore if you judge laws by morals there are no common laws or none that will be universaly respected
my comment wasnt directed at you singular but you plural as in everyone and there are always bigger men waiting
@MrSav720 well if you follow that logic everything is an illusion and the only reality is death with no concret scientific evidance supporting emotions etc
by veiwing any law as an illusion and saying "that doesnt apply to me" you must ignore all societal laws and therefore you can do what you want any time you want
however trust me when i tell you there are big men with big batons that will subject you to those laws and if theyfail there are bigger men with guns waiting for you lol
You said something about haveing a FinnBear in your boot would get you pinched, but isn't there a "good reason" loophole in the law. You could put a Finn Bear or a barong in a backpack, loaded with campout-type stuff and say "I'm going camping next week hence I have a good reason to have the blade!"
@sae1095hc hi there..it wasn't really about " in the boot " but more concerned with in the bag when walking about in town...I have lots of stuff in the boot...heh heh heh..
an update on the Keshaw jeep toucan....by some freakish happening I got the carabiner snagged to a Tesco roll cage today but through my pocket!!!! so it can get hooked up on stuff and get you hurt or dragged along..hmmm maybe I'll keep it on for a while and if it happens again..it comes off as it's more risk than benefit...
@wolfbrother2501 tell me about it..my dad at a boot sale was cutting some string and a woman screamed"aahh he's got a knife!"..it was a Solingen folder fer $%^$^ sake!It is the public who haven't grown up with bowies,410's,12 bores, etc. so if you have a knife , you must be a threat! As I mentioned a few days ago, I used to walk the dog in 1982 ish with a sheath knife on my belt..I was about 10..nobody batted an eyelid back then so attitudes and politics have changed,,NOT ME!
nice .lots of goodies.that bags like the tardis, knife legal stuff is crazy...but you are right it is illeagal but not unlawful, and thats were the interesting info starts...we are all protected by common law ,,,,,bushcraft and common law are linked....its about the land.....legal acts are about money or commerce......so illeagal or leagal can only represent the legal fiction {corporation name} ...but does not effect you the human being unless you give your consent to be governed..cheers 5/5
@RDPproject hi,I do walk to my personal space with backwoods blades+with the wealth of vids I have on the tube it would be a strong case for me that the use of the 12" knives was SOLELY for my excursion at that time plus I work in a school with an Enchanced CRB,obviously I ain't a threat to anyone but at 38 yrs old I'd like to think I'd have a point,.what about when I deliver a blade or by a kitchen knife or go somewhere to prune a tree,it is based on a genuine reason for carry.whicjh I have!

Does having a knife in your bag count?
Cos I ALWAYS have my SAK Rescue Tool in my bag which is always with my when I leave the house.
I only carry my Leatherman Wave on my belt about 3-4 days a week.
