Yeah, this movie sucked. I prefer the slow zombies but these ones were SO slow and SO dopey you could pretty much carry on normal life around them .  There's one scene where she's just prodding them with her gun and they're not doing anything.

man when ever i stay up late on a friday and watch the whole Dead trilogy back-to-back-toback, this is the version of Night i watch. iknow i might get hatedon for this, but this is my favorite ersion of NOTLD, it doesnet look very update and modern, it doesnt even look like the 1990s, really. and the original is just to choppy and poorly produced,imo. bad production, bad audio, looks like a japanese to english dub in some parts. Romero himself even likes this better than the 1968 version

It actually sounds like she is hitting a rubber head. The other thing is the rubber hand.  At least make the fingers move when she is poking it. Good movie though

Everytime I watch this movie it makes me wanna play the Resident Evil series (1, 2, 3, Code Veronica, REmake and Zero) with the slow moving zombies. Look at the zoom closeup of the door handle slowly turning, Capcom took that and made it into a loading screen for Resident Evil! Same with the blood dripping from the ceiling and Barbara looks up, it reminds me of the Licker scene in Resident Evil 2.

This was a very good remake of Night of the Living Dead. I enjoyed this one more than the original. I have it on dvd. I pretty much have every Romero Dead movie released here in the states on DVD. Especially the original 1978 Dawn of the Dead i have every version released here in the states. It's my favorite movie of all time!

This remake is my favorite and Night also remains my favorite Romero film as it is the only one of his movies that has a realistic feel about it were this kind of scenario to happen. All of the characters are believable and even the setting is believable which makes this film timeless. The sequels were over the top Mad Max like and far too cartoony for my tastes. As realistic characters Barbara and Ben are so well done they could be your next door neighbors.
