I used to love spending a lot of time in Ontario when I lived in the Motor City (Detroit). I worked with american special forces in two conflicts (as well as others) I don't know where you are finding your information, but I'm afraid he is correct. More special op military are trained at US, UK and Australian schools than any other. Canada's special forces are quite small and are primarily trained in the UK & US. Good troops, but hardly 'premier' my boy. Sorry.

1) No they didn't. The only time the UN has recognized any special forces unit was the Partisan Infantry Forces Korea.
2) The UN also has Syria, China and Cuba on the Human Rights Commission, who all say their are not human rights issues in thier respective countries.

- Not true about most Canada being uninhabitable. Some northern states gets more snow than some Canadien cities.
